Chapter 10 - Chapter 10- Into a Dungeon Day 1 (pt3)

[x1 orange-grade fishing pole added to inventory!]

Ooh hell yeah!

Ming Sulin got an orange-grade fishing pole this time! Ming Sūlín really felt tempted now to see what items she would add to her inventory automatically feeling that it was only some items, not all.

The message was automatically sent and she received the reply.

Tim: Fifteen minutes out!

She turned the phone off and called back over her shoulder to her dad, "His ETA is 15 minutes, Dad!"

She should really win an Oscar because she was so playing her role excellently, committing to her character heart and soul as she was in it to win it big time.

She glanced beside her at the brother Derek as she skillfully hooked the bait and cast a line out into the deep part of the lake, reeling the line in a bit before stopping baiting the fish with a little movement and lying in wait for a bite.

"Why aren't you going in to swim?" she asked.

Derek shrugged his shoulders and said, "I'm waiting for cousin Jake and Steven to get here first."

"Oh, ok," she nodded then felt a tug on her line. "Do you know where Tally and Henry are?" she tossed another question as she played tug-of-war with the fish that got hooked.

"They went to the woodshed for Dad to get some coal and wood for the grill and bonfire. Woah! You hooked a big fish!" Derek told her before exclaiming in excitement as he watched her wrestle with the fish.

[Would you like to use one of your hidden keys to unlock a hidden plotline?]

Hm? Oh, a hidden plotline?! Of course!

[Yes]

[x1 hidden key used, 2 remain]

"Oh ok," She reeled it in, not putting strain on the line but just the right even tense to allow the fish to tire itself out. Then reeled it in completely.

[Mission: Go to wood shed and see what Henry and Tally are up to! 5 EXP upon completion]

Why not?!

Ming Sūlín gave her brother Derek her fishing pole. "Have fun, I'll be back. I'm going to go check on Tally and Henry."

Scenes flickered around her again like puzzle pieces reshuffling, the dungeon forcing her through its predetermined path, a controlled chaos she had learned to accept.

She appeared right in front of the shed.

Ugh! Damn dungeon and its random next scene blinks—it really needed to stop doing it; it made her dizzy.

And the door was closed but she heard noise coming from inside.

"Hmm oh Henry!" a soft feathery voice mumbled coming from the shed.

"…. "Ming Sūlín rolled her eyes in annoyance. Why wasn't she surprised?

What a cliché ploy for a plot! Best friend cheats with "best friend's" boyfriend behind best friend's back—a classic.

Somebody cry her a river and bash her skull in while they're at it.

She stifled her laughter and creeped over to the window, peeking in, seeing the scene she was expecting.

Tally and Henry in a wild lip lock pressed up against each other. Henry had his hand up her bathing suit top.

!!!!!! Holy shit! Is she about to witness a live show? She didn't even have popcorn. Aww. Welp, maybe next time but let's catch these pair of adulterers!

Charge!!!!

Ming sneakily stepped back to the door of the shed carefully stepping to make no sound as she walked.

She waited a moment hearing them talking low.

"Hmm Henry w-we shouldn't, we promised last time that we were done for Am— "

Ming Sūlín swatted, pushing the door open just a little to look through the crack at the live soap opera taking place.

What a scumbag! And some "best friend."

"I don't want to hear about her when it's just you and me," Henry had Tally cornered against the wall as he kissed her neck.

Glump

Ming Sūlín swiped her imaginary sweat. She had to admit though the kid was a scumbag, he was a looker and had a way with words.

Huh, a mystery of the world: good-looking = too many butterflies, bees, and those nasty mosquitoes.

Some guys have it tough. She'd had a few boyfriends over the years but none that she really wanted to take the marriage step with or nor most could scratch her itch, leaving her completely unsatisfied.

Or some relationships weren't too crazy about her caring for her kid siblings and wanted to break things off claiming she had no time for "Us." She was over it altogether.

Not wanting to let them go farther, she slammed open the door playing the role of perfect replica of a heartbroken, confused, and betrayed teenage girl.

Smash

The door hit the wall.

"Gasp!" the two pair of adulterers tried to cover themselves up as they pulled apart from one another.

"What's going on here?!" She shrieked, having a hard look of betrayal showing on her face with crocodile tears.

"Amy— it's not what it looks like!" Henry tried hiding Tally's body behind him.

Haha, so awesome even the lines are classics.

"It looks like you were face-fucking my ex-boyfriend and my hoe ex-best friend. How can you guys do things to me?! Tally you are supposed to be my best friend?!" Ming Sūlín aka Amy cried.

Tally came over and Henry also tried to calm her down but she pushed them away.

"Get away from me! I don't want to see you guys ever again! And you guys can pretend we don't know each other." she pushed them away from her out the shed making sure she didn't break character sobbing and heartbroken, shining her eye.

Henry and Tally went back embarrassed at being caught. Ming Sūlín waited until she no longer saw them and went back entering the shed.
