"SO, BOYS AND GIRLS! YOU READY TO START?" yelled a certain blonde with a speaker wrapped around his neck, his voice echoing across the massive training grounds.

The crowd of examiners stood frozen, everybody feeling the tension. Some shifted nervously, some of them stared at each other, unsure of what to say, while some gripped their supporting gear.

Present Mic looked at the reaction and sighed. "Tough crowd, huh?" he muttered, scratching his head. Then, with renewed energy, he threw both his arms up. "Alright, no biggie! LET'S GET THIS EXAM STARTED, aaaaaand. BEGIN!"

No one moved. Again.

He looked around, puzzled."Seriously? You guys waiting for fireworks or somethi-"

BOOOM

A shockwave erupted, cutting Present Mic off. Akaza blurred forward, kicking up a cloud of dust as he disappeared. The recent event left all the examinees in shock.

"Whoa! Did you see that?" someone stammered.

Present Mic grinned widely. "NOW THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN' ABOUT!" he yelled. "WHAT ARE YA ALL WAITING FOR?! GO GO GO!"

They all finally snapped out of their daze, adrenaline spiking. They all rushed towards the cityscape.

While everyone else scattered toward the outer streets, Akaza completely ignored the one-pointers roaming around the entrance. They were a waste of time. His eyes were set towards the center of the city.

As he ran towards the center, the wind whipped against his face due to his raw speed.

'Predictable. One-pointers stationed at the outskirts to waste time, two-pointers in the mid-zone, and three-pointers? All in the middle.'

His lips curled into a grin.'Perfect farming ground.'

As he entered the inner zone, multiple three-pointers spun towards him. All its sensors locked up on him. Mechanical arms clanked, ready to attack.

Akaza's senses sharpened. He began to feel the location of every 3-pointer present around him.

The machines finally lunged at him, but he was already gone.

He weaved between them like the Ferrari F1 team slipping their chances of ever winning a title. Each dodge drew more robots towards him.

Street by street, the horde of 3-pointers increased.

When the count reached 40ish, he launched his counter-offensive.

'Shock Pulse: Geppo'

The ground under him cracked as shockwaves blasted beneath his feet, launching him above the horde.

He flipped mid-air, cocking his fist, he propelled himself toward the center of the horde.

Just before his fist hit the ground, he empowered it even more.

'Ten Thousand Leaves: Flashing Willow'

The impact.

BOOOOOM

The impact cracked the street wide open. The shockwave shredded nearly all robots as if they were made out of paper. Metal chunks flew everywhere.

The remaining robots started to move toward Akaza, but it was already too late.

'End Style: Chaotic Blue Metal Afterglow'

A glowing red snowflake pattern spread under his feet, and the world froze.

Then he moved.

Slash

One robot's head flew.

Slash, Slash

Two more were cleaved in half.

Slash, Slash, Slash

Pieces rained to the ground, sparks cutting the air.

His strikes, too fast to track.

Thirty seconds later, silence. The horde lay in burning heaps, the street looking like a junkyard.

Akaza stood at the center, exhaling slowly. "Phew. That hit the spot." He turned around towards the wreckage. "That's gotta be at least 100 points."

Elsewhere, the city was going crazy. Robots are running around every corner. Students fought against them, using every ounce of strength they could muster.

Izuku ran through it all, gasping for air. His legs ached and his lungs burned, but he had to keep going.

'Just one point.... I just need one!'

Everywhere he looked, robots were already destroyed. Other students were racking up points.

But Izuku? He hasn't done anything.

All he has done so far is help a few students.

'Why can't I-'

The ground trembled.

BOOM

BOOM

BOOM

A shadow fell over the buildings.

The massive zero-pointer appeared, towering like an Elden Ring boss. Its steps shattered the roads, and windows blew out from the vibrations.

Students screamed and ran away like ants.

Izuku froze.

'It's too big. There's no way I can fight that.'

He turned to run, but then stopped. Ahead, a girl was trapped under a collapsed steel plate. She clawed at the ground, her face twisted with pain.

Izuku's mind went blank. He sprinted toward her without thinking. He grabbed the metal, trying to move it.

"Come on! MOVE!" he shouted, trying to use all his strength.

However, the plate did not move an inch.

The zero-pointer's shadow crept closer.

"Damn it...." His whole body trembled.

'I have to save her. I have to do something!'

The giant loomed above them, blocking out the sun. Izuku clenched his fists, thinking of All Might's quirk.

'I will have to us-'

BOOOM

The ground cracked. The flying dust settled, revealing Akaza's figure.

He stepped forward with a word and gripped the steel plate. Then he, with a screech, lifted the steel plate, allowing the girl's leg to be out.

"Get her out of here," he said, with his never-changing, calm, and bored voice.(Too much?)

Izuku didn't hesitate. He freed the girl and ran away with her carefully, making sure not to hurt her.

When Izuku was out of sight, a smile appeared on his face, 'I wonder how All Might will get him into UA.'

He looked up at the towering machine. A wild grin played on his lips. "Time to test it out."

He jumped a few times to warm up his body. Then-

'Shock Pulse: Geppo!'

With a burst of shockwaves, he rocketed toward the giant robot. The zero-pointer locked onto him. Which was followed by a heavy swing of its arm, but Akaza jumped through the air and easily dodged every single swing.

Finally, he appeared in front of the zero-pointers' head.

Akaza clenched his fist hard and used the move, inspired by Kenji's,

'Aura Bind: Impact'.

'Destructive Death: Twin Impact'

Both fists slammed into the zero-pointers' face, point-blank.

BANG!!!!

Control Room

The staff watched in silence. Each one of them was shocked to their very core.

Even Nezu's ever-calm face flinched a bit. Then, calming himself down, he picked up his tablet.

After a moment, he read out loud.

"Akaza, an orphan. Quirk: Technique Development and Shockwave. Ranked 1 in all his rank assessments in junior high. Hero points: 30, Villain points: 123"

Aizawa's eyes were still wide with disbelief.

All Might stood frozen, jaw tight, hands clenched at his sides. Looking at Izuku's score.

Nezu put the tablet down, his eyes locked on the screen showing Akaza's replays.

"Fascinating. The way he developed his quirk is truly a work of art."

All Might's voice was low, "Nezu, what about Midoriya?"

Nezu glanced at the screen, where Izuku carried the injured girl to safety.

"I will let him in, All Might, but not because of the quirk he carries."

"I really hope he will do better in the future."

All Might replied with a sad tone. "This is my fault, I should've prepared him better."

Nezu smiled faintly, sipping his tea. "Perhaps. Or perhaps this is exactly the kind of push he needed."

On the screen, Akaza landed calmly amid the wreckage. The camera zoomed in on his eyes.

Nezu smiled. "This is going to be interesting."

Outside

The sky had started to turn into the shades of orange as the Sun started to dip.

Akaza walked towards the station with his hands in his pockets.

"Hey."

He turned. Rumi was there, arms crossed, while a small smile bloomed on her face.

"I heard a few girls talk about the cool and handsome, black eyed student who punched a hole in the zero-pointer's head."

Akaza shrugged. "No clue what you're talking about."

To which Rumi giggled and took his hand.

And together, they vanished into the setting sun.
