The guardian declared that Faizi must prove himself worthy to claim the full power of the Fallen Heaven Flame.

Episode 24: Battle of the Eternal Flame
The cavern blazed with an otherworldly light, its walls rippling as if made of living fire. The Guardian's massive form towered over Faizi Tian, each step it took sending shockwaves through the ground. Its voice boomed like rolling thunder.
"You who seek the Eternal Flame… show me your resolve, or be reduced to ashes."
Faizi tightened his grip on his sword, golden flame flickering around his body. "I've faced demons, storms, and death itself. I will not falter here."
Without warning, the Guardian swung its halberd in a wide arc, sending a tidal wave of flame roaring toward him. The heat was suffocating, threatening to strip the flesh from his bones. Faizi's eyes sharpened. He slammed his palm forward, unleashing a burst of **Fallen Heaven Flame** that cut through the inferno like a blade.
The two flames collided — the Guardian's primal, ancient blaze against Faizi's divine, rebirth-imbued fire. The clash ignited the entire chamber in a storm of searing light.
Faizi dashed forward, using the burst of energy to close the distance. His sword met the halberd in a thunderous strike, sparks and embers raining around them. The sheer force sent tremors through his arms, but he didn't back down.
"You have strength," the Guardian rumbled. "But strength alone is not worth the Eternal Flame."
The armored titan stomped its foot, and the ground split open, spewing molten fire that twisted into flaming chains. They lashed toward Faizi, aiming to bind him completely. His instincts screamed danger — those chains burned not just the body, but the soul.
He roared, igniting his flame to the fullest. Golden fire surged from within, burning through the chains before they could wrap around him. His aura expanded, filling the entire chamber with oppressive heat.
The Guardian paused for a moment, its hollow eyes reflecting the golden blaze.
"This flame… it carries the will of the First Bearer."
Faizi seized the moment, channeling all of his power into a single strike. His sword gleamed with golden light, arcs of flame swirling into a vortex around the blade. "Fallen Heaven — **Ashes of Rebirth**!"
He lunged, the attack piercing straight through the Guardian's chest. For a moment, the massive figure stood still — then its armor cracked, releasing a brilliant stream of pure flame that flowed into Faizi's body.
The cavern's roar faded, and the Guardian's voice softened.
"You have proven yourself. The Eternal Flame is yours to wield… but know this — its true strength will awaken only when the Abyss returns."
The last remnants of the Guardian's form dissolved into embers, leaving Faizi standing in silence, his body surging with newfound power. The flame within him no longer flickered — it burned like a second heart, steady and unyielding.
But even in this moment of triumph, a deep rumble echoed from far away… from the direction of his sect.
Faizi's expression darkened. "The seal…"
Without hesitation, he turned and raced toward the exit of the Flame Inheritance Grounds. The war he had sworn to finish was moving closer — and the enemy was already stirring.
And with that, our fiery and decisive Episode 24 draws to an end.
