That meant YukimiBotamon wouldn't reject her.

This baby Digimon would eventually evolve into Gatomon, and later into Angewomon.
An angel-type Digimon?
Couldn't be a better fit for Barbara, the idol-priestess of Mondstadt's Church of Favonius.

A palm-sized, snowball-like creature sat quietly on the table, its entire body covered in silky white fuzz.
"W-What is this?"
Barbara gasped in shock.
"This is a Digimon. Specifically, YukimiBotamon," Han Feng explained calmly.
"If you feed it with your elemental energy regularly, it'll evolve into Gatomon... and eventually Angewomon."
"My Archons, the reward was real?!"
Barbara was stunned, overwhelmed with joy.
She had hoped something might happen—but seeing it with her own eyes?
That was a whole different level of wonder.
And the reward came from a manga she had just read!
Seeing YukimiBotamon—who had suffered so much in the story—now looking up at her so trustingly made her heart ache and flutter at the same time.
If she told her older sister about this, Jean would be thrilled.
Barbara knew how much pressure Jean was under—dealing with both Stormterror and the scheming Fatui diplomats.
But now things were different.
This manga shop... was a turning point.
Even just the world of Digimon Adventure had some serious powerhouse characters.
WarGreymon. Piedmon. Even Angewomon herself.
If the Knights of Favonius had a few Digimon of their own, the Fatui would never dare act so arrogantly again!

Snowy squeaked happily, sensing Barbara's affection.
Who wouldn't love such a soft, fluffy creature?
"From now on, your name is Snowy!"
"Chuu chuu!"
"Hehe, then it's settled!"
With a radiant smile, Barbara scooped up Snowy in her arms.
It was a little chilly to the touch, but nothing she couldn't handle.
She would train Snowy well.
One day, Snowy might even evolve and become one of Mondstadt's great protectors.
The matter was too important to delay.
So Barbara thanked Han Feng and left the shop, heading directly for the Knights of Favonius HQ.
Unbeknownst to her, three familiar figures saw her leaving.
"Eh? That person looks familiar..."
Paimon squinted at Barbara's back as she exited the alley.
"That's Barbara," Venti said with a smile.
"She's the Deaconess of the Church of Favonius—and also Mondstadt's idol."
As the Anemo Archon, Venti knew all the major players in Mondstadt.
Especially someone like Barbara, who was practically a local celebrity.
"Ohhh, that Barbara!"
Paimon's eyes lit up.
She remembered hearing the name earlier that day when they were out of the city.
People had been talking about how she was helping calm the townsfolk.
But to think she'd just walked out of Han Feng's manga shop!
"Hey, did you notice she was carrying a small white creature?" Lumine asked.
"Yeah! I've never seen anything like it before..." Paimon said, resting her chin on her hand thoughtfully.
"Could it be a reward from one of the boss's manga?"
That seemed highly likely—especially since she had just left the shop.
"Ahehe~ then let's go in and check it out!"
Venti's eyes gleamed with excitement.
The more he learned about this "Solace Book House," the more mysterious—and intriguing—it became.
He couldn't wait to try it for himself.
"Let's go!"
Lumine and Paimon exchanged smiles and stepped forward together.
