Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: A pitiful friend

The night was chilly, and the two reunited friend was on their little walk together after a fine dinner at the restaurant nearby. With their stomachs full and happy, they decided to go to the beach for a few minutes for a little talk about what to do from now on. Sean and Eliot reached the beach and they walked on the sand talking about the past. Sean said he used to blame Eliot for his mother's illness, after she passed away he realized that it was his fault all along, only if he stayed no did not cause a scene at the funeral both Eliot and his mother would have been with him now. Sean's mother was very kind to Eliot she loved him dearly as if he was her own child. Sean felt guilty about that and started isolating himself because he did not want anyone else to be around him. Eliot coming back to the house and stay with him was a blessing for him. While Sean was talking about past, Eliot was listening to him talking and felt a bit guilty for misunderstanding him. Eliot did not know what happened because he was not there, after the talk they decided to just sit in the sand. Sean asked Eliot about how he had been in the past few months, Eliot did not know how to tell him about his feelings and his misunderstandings about Sean. Sean said to him that it is okay if he does not want to talk about it. They sat in the sand with their feet in the water that reminded Eliot of his childhood when his parents had brought him to the beach but this time he was with a friend who had been through a lot. While Eliot was deep in thought he felt something was on his shoulder and when he looked it was Sean's head on his shoulder asleep. Sean was such a pitiful person, he had been through a lot in a short period of time. Eliot felt bad for him. He did not want to wake Sean up after such a long day of work so he sat there and it was very late and the sun came up. When Sean woke up he found Eliot asleep with his head on top of his. When Eliot woke up he asked him why he stayed and he just should have woken Sean up and went home. Eliot responded that he was just wanted Sean to rest and he felt sean was very tired from the work yesterday so he just let him sleep. After they went back home for breakfast and Eliot made some food with what was there and they decided after breakfast they would go to the store to get something for lunch. They were going to the store and on the way, Sean was feeling better than before. Sean was shining bright and smiling a lot and he looked more like the child Eliot grew up now. Eliot sighed and said to Sean that he indeed was a pitiful friend, and Sean smiled even more brightly and asked if that was Eliot thinks of him. Eliot just smiled and nodded. Sean patted him on his head and said that he had grown up now, and also works at a small shop in the area where they lived. Eliot had really grown up now he does the outside work and Sean stays home and works online. After the shopping they went home together laughing and talking about things they saw on the way. When they were home, Eliot was cooking and he did not feel well, he felt dizzy and dropped the spoon that was in his hand. On hearing the sound of the spoon falling, Sean came in the kitchen and asked Eliot what happened. Eliot said nothing which worried Sean and he went to check Eliot temperature. Eliot had a fever and as Sean was checking the temperature, he fainted. Sean panicked and decided to take him to the hospital. The doctor examined Eliot and said Sean that Eliot had a mild fever and he will b fine in just a few day of rest. And they came back home. Sean sighed and asked Eliot who is the most pitiful person was between them now, Eliot smiled softly but did not respond and Sean took him to his room to rest and he went to get him something to eat.
