The remaining Seven Ninja Swordsmen were a mixture of shock, fear, and utter confusion. Each instantly gripped their great swords, assuming a defensive stance, while nervously scanning their surroundings.
Their gazes finally settled on the mysterious figure. He was the only plausible explanation.
Uchiha Kouki didn't waste words. He casually selected one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen and unleashed Amaterasu.
"Aaah!"
Black flames instantly engulfed Kushimaru Kuriarare, sending him sprawling to the ground, writhing in agony.
"It's him! He did it! Attack! Kill him!" Suikazan Hōzuki roared, his voice filled with undeniable fury.
The twice-witnessed, incredibly strange black flames had appeared each time the mysterious figure had turned his gaze towards them.
The conclusion was inescapable. The black flames were undoubtedly this person's doing.
The remaining five swordsmen launched a coordinated assault from all directions, simultaneously launching themselves at Uchiha Kouki.
Their five great swords descended upon him from different angles, aiming for a devastating simultaneous strike.

However, in that instant, Kouki's body vanished with impossible speed. The five great swords struck the ground, creating deep craters.
"He can't be that fast!"
The Seven Ninja Swordsmen were all astonished. They were all jōnin, top-tier in taijutsu and ninjutsu, yet this person's speed was beyond their comprehension. And this was while he was simultaneously protecting three other people!
Even a Kage-level shinobi couldn't accomplish such a feat.

Before their astonishment could fully register, another of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen screamed in agony, falling to the ground.
Kouki, silently utilizing the Flying Thunder God Technique, had appeared in another location and unleashed Amaterasu on yet another target.
The remaining swordsmen were startled, instantly employing the Body Flicker Technique to take cover behind whatever obstacles they could find. They no longer dared to expose themselves to Kouki's terrifying power.
The fearsome black flames were too unpredictable, seemingly activated by a mere glance; a truly terrifying ability. No one dared to be a sitting duck any longer.
"You two, go. I'll handle this," Kouki said calmly, remaining in his position, addressing Might Guy and Kurenai Yūhi.
"But Kouki, you…"
"Kurenai, Guy, senpai is right. Staying here would only hinder him. It's best we leave immediately!" Kouki's shadow clone said calmly and rationally.
"Kurenai, Kouki's right. We leave now!" Might Guy nodded decisively.
The two quickly used the Body Flicker Technique and disappeared.
The Seven Ninja Swordsmen didn't stop them. The two genin were inconsequential; the mysterious individual was their primary target.
"Seven Ninja Swordsmen, all hiding like turtles?"
After Kurenai and the others left, Kouki let out a cold laugh, his arrogance unrestrained. His attitude was as arrogant as it could possibly be.
The Seven Ninja Swordsmen were furious, each wanting to kill him, but Kouki's overwhelming power held them back.
"Think hiding will save you?"
Kouki let out a cold laugh. He produced several Flying Thunder God Kunai and casually tossed them into the surrounding area.
Clang clang clang!
The Flying Thunder God Kunai scattered, embedding themselves throughout the environment.
"What's he doing?"
The Seven Ninja Swordsmen were completely baffled, unable to comprehend Kouki's actions.
Is he trying to force us out with such weak attacks? That's laughable. They thought, ridiculous. And his aim is terrible; is he trying to be funny? The accuracy was abysmal.
Whoosh!
But while the Seven Ninja Swordsmen remained utterly confused, Uchiha Kouki vanished.
In the next instant, he appeared behind one of the remaining swordsmen.
"Damn it!"
The swordsman felt an overwhelming sense of dread. Before he could react, intense black flames erupted around him.
—After all, can even the fastest movements surpass the speed of sight?
"What?!"
The remaining Seven Ninja Swordsmen were utterly shocked. This was impossible!
Their hiding places were dispersed, separated by considerable distances and obstacles.
Even the most powerful Body Flicker Technique couldn't allow for an instant teleportation behind them; multiple jumps would be necessary. And they would have undoubtedly taken countermeasures.
Yet, he had appeared instantly.
"That wasn't the Body Flicker Technique. It was the Flying Thunder God Technique!"
With a mixture of shock and dawning comprehension, Suikazan Hōzuki caught sight of the seals on the kunai handles, instantly recognizing the jutsu.
