He fell victim to Itachi's genjutsu, the Binding Jutsu. Orochimaru's weakness in this area was clearly evident.
.....
"What… what in the world is happening?" Orochimaru, in the midst of attacking Kouki, suddenly found the world around him completely devoid of color, transformed into a stark, black and white landscape. And, inexplicably, he found himself bound to a massive cross.
He strained with every ounce of his strength to break free, but the bonds remained unyielding.
"Genjutsu… I've fallen victim to Kouki's genjutsu!" Orochimaru, far from stupid, quickly understood the situation. Up to this point, he had maintained a relatively calm exterior.
However, his nightmare was about to begin.
"Orochimaru, you think being one of the Sannin makes you invincible?" a voice echoed. Before Orochimaru, a swirling vortex appeared, and Kouki stepped out, a long, wickedly sharp katana in his hand.
Shhh! Kouki plunged the katana directly into Orochimaru's abdomen.
"Ugh!" Even Orochimaru, despite his considerable resilience, couldn't help but let out a muffled grunt of pain. While this was an illusory space, the sensation of pain was undeniably real.
"Is that all you've got?" Orochimaru, far from defeated, scoffed, a defiant smirk playing on his lips. He challenged Kouki.
"My apologies, you'll be disappointed," Kouki said, smoothly withdrawing the katana. "I intend to fully satisfy your expectations."
With that, countless Kouki's materialized from all directions, completely encircling Orochimaru. They stood shoulder to shoulder, forming an impenetrable wall of identical figures. Each Kouki held a sharp katana, poised to strike.
Orochimaru: "..."
Shhh shhh shhh! The surrounding Koukis simultaneously lunged, their katanas raining down upon Orochimaru.
"Ah!" Orochimaru's screams echoed, a prolonged and agonizing sound, mirroring the horrific scene of Kakashi's torture at the hands of Itachi.
"Kakashi endured for three days and nights. Someone of your caliber should manage at least a week, wouldn't you agree?" Kouki declared, his decision seemingly based on the fact that Orochimaru, as a Sannin, deserved no less torment than Kakashi.
Within the Tsukuyomi space, the brutal assault continued for six full days and nights.
Finally, Kouki's mental energy depleted, he was forced to bring the ordeal to an end.
Thud! As Kouki released Orochimaru from the Tsukuyomi, Orochimaru collapsed, completely drained, mirroring Kakashi's state after his ordeal. He was utterly helpless, unable to even rise.
"Wh…what… what in the world was that terrifying genjutsu…?" Orochimaru was utterly distraught, this single thought dominating his mind.
He was at a severe disadvantage, desperate to counterattack, but completely immobile. His chakra remained largely untouched, but his mind was shattered, paralyzing his body. That he hadn't immediately lost consciousness was a testament to his exceptional willpower.
"Amaterasu!" Kouki, without mercy, unleashed the devastating technique.
Clang! Black flames erupted around Orochimaru under Kouki's dōjutsu, and he screamed in agony.
Under normal circumstances, Orochimaru would undoubtedly have used the Snake Summoning Technique and a substitution jutsu to escape.
But after six days and nights of torment within the Tsukuyomi, his mind was shattered, leaving him incapable of even performing this basic jutsu.
Kouki watched impassively as Orochimaru burned to ashes.
Unbeknownst to Kouki, Orochimaru, in a final desperate act of will, had detached a small white snake, sending it into the ground before being completely consumed. The larger snake body effectively concealed the smaller one from Kouki's notice.
Even so, Kouki didn't believe he had truly killed Orochimaru. He knew Orochimaru's resilience; destroying all his cursed seals was necessary for a true kill.
He didn't know if Orochimaru had left any cursed seals on others.
But he suspected Orochimaru wouldn't be so easily killed.
"So what if Orochimaru didn't die? If he comes back, I'll kill him again!" Kouki shrugged, used Body Flicker Technique, and left, as if nothing had happened.
He later rejoined Kakashi, and they discussed their strange pursuers. Kouki simply stated that he hadn't encountered them on his journey.
