Chapter 1 - Chapter one: The Noclip

He was walking down the busy street. It was a normal day. The sun was shining up on a bright new day. The weather was fantastic for a walk. And that's what he was doing. Walking down the street with one earbud in his ear, listening to music while he walked with a small backpack. It was just like every normal day, just more enjoyable than the many before it. Suddenly, while walking next to an alleyway, he saw something in the corner of his eye that shouldn't be possible. A door, just existing in the middle of the alleyway that was floating above the ground. He looked at it for a moment, confused and fascinated at how realistic it looked. He looked around to find the wires attached to it. He couldn't find or see one, so he then looked for anyone at all to know that it's just being lifted up, but to his realisation and deeper confusion, he found nothing, and no one at all there with this door, but him. Now that he is looking around, the once busy street with cars and people is suddenly empty and quiet. Something he didn't notice immediately due to the music he was playing. He suddenly gets hit with a sudden really bad feeling about his situation. His fascination stays, but he knows this couldn't end well at all. He takes off the earbud and hastily puts it back in its box and then returns his full attention to the door. He tries to calm himself, just tells himself that there must be an explanation to all of this, like a prank show or something, but even after trying to calm himself down, he still frantically looked for some explanation to whatever is happening right before his eyes, but, to his dismay, there is nothing. He tries to calm himself again, and convince himself that there has to be some obvious explanation that he just doesn't see, as, how could it be possible that a door is just floating there, right?

He turns around to just continue walking, to try to better think about this while he continues his walk, but when he turns, he finds that he is still looking at the alleyway with that door. Confused and baffled, he looks back to check if he just turned the wrong way somehow by seeing if the alleyway is still where it is. When he looks back, he sees it again, with that same door. He keeps looking back and forth, even spinning in circles to try to find a way out, yet, anywhere he looks, he just sees the alleyway, and that door. He is still fascinated, but controlled panic starts to set in as his fear of this supernatural phenomenon is rapidly growing wild. There is nothing he can do. He is trapped. Forced to have only one way, and it was to that door. Delaying the inevitable is meaningless, and fearing this any longer would only make him weaker, so he has to go for the door. He knows he is most likely in some kind of danger, but if it was immediate, it would have already happened, or whatever sent this door here just wanted to play with its food. He slowly walks up to the door, looking up towards it, not leaving his sight off of it, not even to blink. When he finally reached under it, the door suddenly swung open, which made him flinch extremely due to how sudden and loud it was. He slowly opened his eyes, and when he looked at what's inside the door, he saw a yellow light, and right before seeing anything else, things around him started to twist and turn. Space itself started to bend and mold into itself, and before he can do anything at all, he closes his eyes, listening and feeling the events around him unfold. He braces for whatever is about to happen to him and tenses up completely and puts his arms around his head. But suddenly, things get quiet, and all he can hear is a humming sound that sounds like it's coming from a fluorescent light.
