Scathach healed me using primal runes. I had turned off the live stream.
But even though my body was fine, my heart was broken. When I came to this world, there was no one I could trust, not even Morgan. But then, slowly, I started to trust Morgan and Scathach.
But someone I trusted asked me to help with their suicide. I can't explain it with just words; I'm just heartbroken. The pain in my heart is immense.
Scathach sent me to Morgan's side. Even though my clothes were torn, the lower part was still intact. I was hunched over; I just wanted to collapse. Morgan held my shoulder: "Are you okay, Lott?"
"No, I need some space." In Lott's voice, there was anger, sadness, and melancholy. He just collapsed and lay there like he was dead.
Four days later.
Lott wouldn't get out of bed. He entrusted everything to Ranulf, after all, he was his most trusted man. No matter what Morgan did, she couldn't get him out of bed.
As a last resort, Morgan brought Gareth. She was playing with Lott's face. Lott didn't care; the dark circles under his eyes had deepened. He didn't want to be seen like this in front of his children, so he held Gareth and tickled her.
Then Gareth did something unexpected: she vomited on Lott's head.
Lott patted Gareth's back, trying to help her if something was stuck in her throat. Thank goodness, Gareth burped and seemed almost proud of herself. Lott's mood lifted.
Morgan was watching them from the doorway, unable to hold herself back, clutching her stomach and laughing.
Lott first used cleansing magecraft, and the mess on his face disappeared. He gave a strange smile.
For the first time in four days, Lott stepped out of his room. Ranulf appeared as if he knew: "Welcome back, my lord."
I waved my hand and sent him away. I went to the room reserved for the children, carrying Gareth in my arms.
The servants stepped back when they saw me. Morgan, as if wanting to give me some space, went somewhere else.
The moment Agravain saw me, he pointed at Gareth: "Bad girl, stealing Dad!"
Gawain and Gaheris tightly grabbed my legs: "Daddy, Daddy, I missed you!"
Agravain's eyes were locked on Gareth.
I set Gareth down and called Agravain over. I hugged them all tightly: "Kids, I love you."
I hugged them all tightly.
Then all the kids pushed me. Gawain shouted: "Attack Daddy! Daddy's acting weird!"
I pretended to fall, and they started biting me. I was looking at the ceiling; playtime with them passed.
Then I entrusted them to the servants and went to the hall to be alone. I ordered wine to be brought.
I raised a glass to myself: "To life."
Then I joined the chat group.
[Kazuma: Guys, are you sure Lott will be okay?]
[Makima: Someone with that much power will definitely return to us soon.]
[Killua: The old man will be fine; he's a king, after all.]
[King Lott: Hello, everyone.]
[Kazuma: Brother, you're finally back!]
[King Lott: I'm fine, thanks, Kazuma.]
[Gilgamesh: You're back. Good. If you had a weak mentality, this king would have been disappointed in you.]
Looking at the screen, I just smiled softly.
[King Lott: Thanks, Gilgamesh.]
[Makima: I have a question, Lott.]
[King Lott: Ask.]
I'm cautious because I know what Makima is thinking, or at least I understand. That woman is strange.
[Makima: Are you a god? Like a dragon god?]
[King Lott: Dragon, sure, but I'm not a god. Don't compare me to those fools.]
Gilgamesh smirked lightly in his palace because he felt Lott was like him.
[Killua: So, where did you learn assassin techniques?]
[King Lott: Assassin techniques? I know them because I have an assassin organization.]
Killua, glancing at Gon and the screen, thought this guy was full of surprises. It made sense that he'd have an assassin organization. He had indirectly answered where it came from, not its origin.
He always wanted to make friends, and this chat group had given him friends, but since he hadn't seen any of them in his own world, he couldn't trust them.
Lott was staring blankly at the screen because there was a message in front of him.
[Group member Kazuma has died.]
[King Lott: Oh, fate took you from us too soon. Oh, Kazuma, you were so young.]
[Gilgamesh: Hm, expected.]
[King Lott: +1]
[Killua: +1]
[Makima: +1]
[Group member Kazuma started a live stream.]
[Kazuma: I'm not dead, you jerks! And Makima, really?]
In front of Kazuma stood someone with blue hair.
Oh, it's starting.
(Friends, I wanted to let you know that chapters will come less frequently. If we reach 300 power stones, there will be bonus chapters. Don't forget to comment.
