Returning to the present, on the afternoon of January 27, 2019, the main hall of the Dominion palace remained in silence.
Frank had finished recounting everything that had happened in Palmyra. Lars, Klein, Sigmund, Viktor, Marcus, Amelia, William, and Amaya had listened to every word without interrupting him.
The atmosphere was heavy.
Frank placed both hands on the long dark wooden table.
"After everything that happened to me in Palmyra, I spent several months with Amaya investigating the manuscript of that forbidden religion," he said firmly. "The problem is that we obtained no information."
No one seemed surprised.
If there was one thing that characterized Dominion, it was that truly important secrets rarely left traces.
At that moment, Frank lifted his gaze and fixed it on William.
