Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: The Goddess Beneath the Stream

𝘓ucifer dove into the shimmering current of Waterfox Stream, the waters crisp with ancient mana. As he swam beneath the cascading falls, something twisted in the depths—tentacles, pale and pulsing with hostile energy, lunged toward him.

He fought them back, slicing through the waves with precision.

Suddenly, beneath the veil of water, a hidden cave entrance appeared. Lucifer swam through and found her:

Mitsuo Kit—legendary beasterwoman—lay in frozen slumber, wrapped in crystal mana frost. Her tentacle tail, fractured and wild, was leaking a white fungus known as Melotas, spreading antimagic decay.

Lucifer clenched his fist.

He activated his Mana Crown: Sapphire, tapping into the dense blue mana drawn from the gem-coded spell system. In his world, each gem year corresponds to a mana type:

He combined this with a Mana Magic Spell: Circle 0 — Mana Zone, then cast

"Mercy Period — Spirit Spell, Circle 25", cleansing the cave with spiritual light.

Mitsuo stirred, breathing for the first time in centuries. Her rage vanished.

She opened her eyes, embraced Lucifer gently.

"Thank you… my tail lost control from the frozen pain. I'm sorry for those hurt. I wish to heal them now."

Lucifer nodded.

"Come. The world still needs you."

Back at the guest house, Duke Vernos, General Frozy, and Madam Martya gathered as Lucifer addressed them:

"Meet Goddess Mitsuo Kit. She was sealed by losing Mana and her tail(tentacle) were lost control through forced freezing. I used a fiery spirit spell to bring her peace."

They returned to the palace, where King Marshel Moto Fire III awaited.

Lucifer bowed. "Your Majesty. Mitsuo Kit bears no fault. The people honor her as the river goddess. She is a young beasterwoman born to an Abyssal Octopus Lady and a Fox Beast Father. M Mitsuo fell into eternal slumber after purifying Taro River from poison. The chaos came only when someone froze her—forcing her tail into uncontrolled magic."

Mitsuo stepped forward.

"I did not mean harm. My father died in drinking water of the river. I gave all my mana to purify it—but dark hands sealed me in ice, and my tail(tentacle) broke free in rage…"

The king looked into her glowing violet eyes.

"O brave young lady. You are forgiven. Go, heal the children. Send them back to their homes."

Lucifer bowed again.

"The case of the infected children is resolved. Now I begin the investigation into the second mystery—the freezing incident in the kingdom."
