Lucifer arrived in Otoburn Town, the capital of the Oto Kingdom. The palace loomed before him—immense and awe-inspiring, forged in blazing design with fiery archways and digital engravings that shimmered with arcane heat.
General Frozy Caron walked beside him. Together, they were warmly welcomed by fire-suited royal guards and elegant maids in flame-etched robes, who bowed as they passed through the golden gates.
"Follow me to the Fire Royal Court," Frozy said.
Inside the throne hall, majestic flames danced across the walls. At its center sat King Marshel Moto Fire III, robed in crimson, wearing a magical crown woven from living fire. His throne shimmered with burning glyphs—raised above all others.
Two maids stood nearby, waving techno-fans to temper the radiant heat. Surrounding the hall were elite guards, standing tall in formation. Knights, barons, generals, dukes, ministers, and priests sat to the king's left and right—each dressed in ceremonial fiery suits upon flame-brushed chairs, slightly lower in height than the king's throne.
They spoke in unison:
"Welcome, Rookie Detective Lucifer."
The king leaned forward, voice firm and regal.
"Lucifer, you know the Detective Laws, do you not? Let me remind you:
Law One: When a case is taken, the detective is granted full power—he may do anything required to solve it. Law Two: The detective's judgment is final. Even kings must obey. Law Three: Once a detective accepts a case, all clients must remain silent and await the verdict."
He paused.
"You are now the detective of this kingdom. The case is not simple. In Carpted Town, 25 children aged 9 to 15 were discovered near the riverbank—barely alive, unconscious, their bodies covered entirely in white substance. They remain in a guest house under guard."
Lucifer stepped forward, bowing slightly.
"Your Majesty, I accept this case. I vow to solve it."
Then he turned to General Frozy Caron.
"General, please escort me. I'd like to examine the victims."
