Synopsis
On his way to an internship with All Might’s mentor, Izuku Midoriya trips. He flails, panic rising, but there’s no saving himself. No way to catch his fall. So, with a resigned breath, he closes his eyes and braces for the inevitable impact. Except it never comes. He’s no longer falling. Actually… he’s no longer horizontal, either. He’s standing. Upright. Perfectly still. This, to one Izuku Midoriya, is perplexing. He opens his eyes. A bustling marketplace greets him. Cobblestone streets. Stone buildings that look like they belong in medieval fantasy. A vendor shouting prices. A carriage rolls past, pulled by what can only be described as a… raptor? Then it hits him. He’s been teleported. by a quirk or something else. Doesn't matter. He’s been isekai’d. And Izuku Midoriya, Quirkless boy turned hero in training, is about to find out just how unforgiving another world can be. Whether he's ready or not. Atleast Lugunica gets a new hero... right? That's a good thing? even if they get traumatised in the process, it should be fiiiiiiine.

Chapter 1 - This... does not look like japan... not at all.

Izuku Midoriya was extremely nervous.

The kind of nervousness that made his stomach feel like it was being thrown around in a blender. Then shook like a baby ( cough cough-bakugo-cough cough) with brain damage.

He'd just stepped out of the train station, the cool air brushing his face. A breeze ruffled his messy green hair as he adjusted his grip on the suitcase carrying his hero costume. His legs moved on autopilot, carrying him down a quiet residential street toward the address All Might had given him.

This was supposed to be simple. Just a normal internship. A chance to learn from one of All Might's old mentors, a retired Pro Hero named Gran Torino.

But still, the nerves wouldn't go away. Especially after All Might's extremely sketchy behavior when talking about him.

His mind wouldn't stop spiralling.

What kind of hero scares All Might? What if he's disappointed in me?What if I mess something up? What if I can't keep up? What if I fail?Would I finally find out what made All Might flinch like that?Is Gran Torino strict? Or, like... unhinged? Murderous?

His chest tightened.

He knew All Might believed in him. He'd given him One For All, for crying out loud. But being unable to use that Quirk without shattering his own limbs. made it worse. Somehow, the more people believed in him, the more he felt the pressure squeeze his ribs like a vice.

Part of him still felt like a fraud. Like he wasn't ready. Like he didn't deserve this.

He shook his head. No. Not now. Focus.

He reached into his pocket and pulled out the crumpled paper with the address. Double-checked the numbers. Then looked up.

He'd arrived.

The building looked… normal. Too normal. Quiet. especially for All Might's mentor... but it should be fine. Maybe he just liked modesty?

He stared at it for a long moment, heart pounding in his ears.

"Okay," he whispered to himself, exhaling. "You can do this."

He stepped forward, lifting his hand to knock, and fate decided to remind him of his very first meeting with Uraraka.

He tripped.

Or I guess I'll just die

There was no warning. One second he was upright, the next he was falling forward like a sack of potatoes.

His arms flailed, panic rising, but there was no saving it. No way to catch himself. So, with a resigned breath, he squeezed his eyes shut and braced for the inevitable faceplant. his fate accepted. his face shall become one with the floor. :(

It never came. The hurt never arrived, and the impact of the fall. never arrived.

because he was no longer falling.

Actually... he was also, no longer horizontal, either.

He was standing.

Upright.

Perfectly still.

Which, for Izuku Midoriya, was extremely concerning. Because that's not how physics works.

He cracked one eye open.

Cobblestone streets.

Stone buildings straight out of a medieval fantasy game.

A vendor shouting prices

A carriage rattled past, drawn by what looked suspiciously like a raptor. Something extinct...

"..."

Izuku Midoriya had been Teleported.

no... no, no, no. actually. specifically

Izuku Midoriya had been isekai'd. to what looks to be a fantasy world.

"...Huh."

He stared at the dinosaur-horse-thing for a moment, then slowly looked down at his body. Still in his uniform. But sadly, his suitcase had not come with.

Then he looked up again.

"Well, that's... not Gran Torino's house," he muttered.

"Not at all..."

...

Why was he so calm about this? Oh, wait, no, n,o he wasn't

"WHAAAAAAAAT!?!?!?!?!!"

There it was.

just took a second

welcome to hell Izuku!

:D

A/N Hope you enjoyed. I was planning for this to be.. more... serious. But, kinda failed. so uh. Treat this like half serious, half crack-fic. because my hands can't write anything without shoving my humor into it.
