"GuGu!"
Just then, Son Goku's stomach let out another loud growl.
"Bulma, I'm starving! Let's go back to your house and eat!"
"Eat, eat, eat. Goku, that's all you ever think about!" Bulma sighed, shaking her head.

At Bulma's House...
Bang! Bang!
Inside Bulma's spacious dining hall, Goku and the other Saiyans devoured food like starving beasts. Two bites of rice, one gulp of noodles—it was like watching a feeding frenzy.
Thankfully, they were at Bulma's house. If they had gone to a regular restaurant, the chefs would've given up trying to keep up with their bottomless stomachs.
Rayden watched from the side, shaking his head with a faint smile. Good thing I have a legendary bloodline. My appetite hasn't increased like theirs. Otherwise, I'd go broke just feeding myself.
The robot chefs served plate after plate—more than a dozen times—before the Saiyans were finally full.
"Ugh... I'm stuffed!" Goku leaned back, patting his stomach with a satisfied grin.
He looked over at Rayden. "Hey, Rayden! How was the universe? Did you meet any powerful opponents?"
Rayden thought for a moment before replying calmly, "The universe is vast, Goku. But I've only explored a small part of it so far. I haven't encountered anyone stronger than us yet."
"By the way," Rayden added, "I brought something good for all of you."
He took out a handful of glowing spiritual fruits from his storage ring and handed out five to each person.
Then, he turned to Bulma and gave her twenty.
"Bulma, this fruit can extend your life and even make you look younger. You can share some with your parents if you'd like."
"Really? Rayden, you're the best!" Bulma said excitedly and immediately popped one in her mouth.
Her eyes widened. "It's sweet—and refreshing! I feel… energized!"
Krillin held up his fruit, equally stunned. "Whoa! I think I got stronger after eating just one!"
Rayden nodded. "They boost your strength and extend your life, but the effect weakens the more you eat."
Then he turned to Goku and asked, "Has anything major happened since I left Earth?"
Goku scratched his head, thinking for a moment. "Actually, yeah! Frieza came back—with his son! He was much stronger than before, but Gohan managed to defeat him."
"Oh, and a boy from the future came to warn us about androids that'll appear soon."
Piccolo chimed in, arms crossed. "Those androids will show up in exactly one month."
Rayden frowned slightly. So even with all their training, the original timeline hasn't changed much...
He sighed. "Alright then. Goku, Vegeta—you'll handle the androids."
"Broly and I are heading to the Spirit Time Room."
"Sounds good!" Goku said with a grin. "But Rayden, you owe me a fight later. I know you've gotten stronger."
"Hmph! I'll take care of those mechanical pests myself!" Vegeta declared arrogantly.
Rayden simply chuckled. Same old Vegeta...
He then took five spiritual fruits and two universal capsules from his ring and handed them to Gohan.
"Gohan, give these to your mother. The capsules are full of jewelry and valuables from across the universe."
"Thank you, Uncle Rayden!" Gohan bowed respectfully.
"Alright everyone, see you later!" Rayden waved and took off into the air with Broly and Paragus, heading toward the Temple of Heaven.

Temple of Heaven
Rayden, Broly, and Paragus landed before the Guardian of Earth.
"God, Broly and I would like to use the Spirit Time Room."
The Guardian nodded. "Of course. Mr. Popo will guide you."
Rayden handed over 10 spiritual fruits to the Guardian and Mr. Popo.
"These fruits will extend your lifespan. And please take care of Paragus while we're inside."
"We will," the Guardian replied kindly.
Mr. Popo led Rayden and Broly through the temple. After a short walk, they arrived at a massive white door.
"This is the Spirit Time Room," Popo said in his usual expressionless voice. "Once you enter, make sure to leave before the hourglass runs out. If you don't, the door will lock forever."
(Of course, someone powerful enough could shatter the dimensional wall and escape—but better not to test that.)
Rayden and Broly entered.
Inside, the space was vast and surreal. The temperature swung from 50°C to -40°C, the air was thin, and gravity was ten times heavier than Earth's. But there was food, water, and basic living amenities.
"Broly, let's begin!"
Boom!
The two unleashed their full power and charged at each other.
Rayden used Four Body Fist, creating three clones to surround Broly.
Broly smirked and formed an energy shield around himself, instantly smashing the clones to bits.
Then, he gathered a massive orb of energy in his palm and hurled it toward Rayden.
"Vast Omega!"
The orb split into dozens of smaller blasts, raining down like a storm.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Rayden's clones were obliterated, and he reappeared in his base form.
Using Instant Transmission, he appeared behind Broly and landed a solid punch to his back.
"Aghh!" Broly cried out as he was sent flying.
Rayden didn't stop. He placed two fingers to his forehead and summoned energy.
"Devil's Light Killing Cannon!"
Boom!
The energy wave hit Broly head-on—but he shook it off with only minor injuries.
Whoosh!
Both fighters exploded with energy and charged once more.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
They clashed violently, exchanging blow after blow, neither dodging nor holding back.
Broly suddenly grabbed Rayden's fist and began charging energy in his chest.
"Chest Air Bomb!"
He released it point-blank.
Boom!
Rayden was blasted back but regained control mid-air. He placed his hands at his waist.
"Kamehameha!"
A massive blue wave surged forward.
Broly quickly countered with a Ki Blast, and the two attacks collided.
BANG!
A shockwave erupted as the blasts exploded in mid-air. Both fighters were thrown apart, bruised and torn.
Rayden quickly took out two Senzu Beans, ate one, and tossed the other to Broly.
They trained like this every day, fighting until exhaustion, then recovering, eating, and resting.
Days turned into weeks. Weeks into months.
And before they knew it, two full years had passed inside the Spirit Time House.
As the hourglass neared its end, Rayden called Broly.
"It's time to leave."
---
Outside the Spirit Time House
"Broly, why are you guys out so soon? It's only been two days," Paragus asked, confused.
Broly explained, "Father, time inside the chamber flows differently. Two days outside equals two years inside."
"Amazing… What a mystical place!" Paragus muttered in awe.
The Guardian approached. "Rayden, how was the training?"
Rayden gave a confident smirk. "Excellent. Our strength has grown immensely."
Both he and Broly had fully mastered the transformation of the Legendary Super Saiyan.
Their hair now turned green in the initial stage, gold when fully powered. Their muscles swelled, their height increased, and their strength and speed reached new peaks. Best of all—this form no longer drained their stamina.
(From now on, I'll just refer to this form as Super Saiyan for simplicity's sake. Writing out the full name every time is too cumbersome! Hope you don't mind!)
"Thank you, God," Rayden said. "We'll be heading out now."
He, Broly, and Paragus took off and flew to the coast.
There, they found a remote island and built a house. For the next month, they lived peacefully—fishing, training lightly, and enjoying the ocean breeze.

One Month Later
"Let's go," Rayden said.
He grabbed Broly and Paragus and used Instant Transmission to appear beside Son Goku.
They landed on a high mountain where the others were already gathered, waiting.
"Goku, how long have you guys been here?"
Goku looked at the watch on Gohan's wrist. "Almost an hour. Still no sign of the androids."
"Hmph!" Vegeta crossed his arms. "Kakarot, are you sure that boy didn't lie to us?"
Rayden ignored their brewing argument and turned to Bulma, frowning.
"Bulma, why did you bring Trunks here? This is dangerous."
"I just want to see what these androids look like," she said with a shrug.
Then she paused. "Wait... Rayden, how do you know his name is Trunks? I haven't told anyone yet."
Rayden chuckled. "Goku and Piccolo know too. That future boy is Trunks—your son, grown-up."
"WHAT?!" Vegeta shouted, stepping forward and grabbing Goku's collar. "You knew and didn't tell me?!"
Goku casually brushed Vegeta's hand off. "Trunks asked me to keep it a secret. If you've got a problem, ask him."
Rayden scanned the horizon. "Looks like the androids won't be appearing here. Let me take you to them instead."
He took off into the air, flying toward West City (Beidu).
