"Where… am I?" he muttered.

Suddenly, a meteor streaked across the sky, blazing brightly before slamming into the earth.

A thunderous explosion echoed as the meteor impacted the ground, leaving a massive crater in its wake.
"What the hell just fell? A meteorite? A UFO?"
Driven by curiosity, Rayden cautiously approached the smoking pit. As he peered inside, he saw something completely surreal—a white, spherical space pod resting deep in the crater.

Under Rayden's stunned gaze, the pod's door slowly creaked open. A tall, muscular man stepped out.
He had fierce eyes and wore bizarre, battle-ready armor. His long, wild black hair trailed behind him, and a monkey-like tail was wrapped around his waist. On his right eye, he wore a strange device that resembled a futuristic monocle.
Rayden, having watched Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball Super countless times, recognized the man immediately.
"Raditz…!" he gasped. "That's Raditz, Goku's older brother!"
This was bad—very bad. This was the beginning of Dragon Ball Z, the moment Raditz invaded Earth to find Kakarot (Goku) and recruit him to conquer planets.
"What the hell?! Why did I get thrown into the Dragon Ball world? I wasn't hit by a car, didn't fall off a cliff, didn't get struck by lightning—I was just reviewing study notes before going to bed!"
He rubbed his temples in disbelief.

Raditz, unaware of Rayden's internal meltdown, glanced around with a scowl.
"Why are the people on this planet still alive? What's Kakarot doing?" he muttered coldly.

"Hmph, only five in combat power? Trash," Raditz sneered, looking directly at Rayden.
Before Rayden could react, Raditz extended his hand and formed an energy ball.

The glowing ball traced a perfect arc as it raced toward Rayden. Terrified, Rayden turned and ran, shouting, "System! System! Are you there?! Come on, don't bail on me now!"

His heart dropped. "You've got to be kidding me…"

The explosion rocked the ground. Rayden was sent flying, crashing into a stone pillar. Blood poured from his mouth.
"Ugh…"
His vision darkened. His body slumped to the ground.
Raditz looked at Rayden's lifeless body and snorted. "Such a pathetic race."
The device blinked again.
"There—combat power detected in that direction. That must be Kakarot."
Without another glance, Raditz took to the sky and vanished toward the horizon.

Silence returned to the crater—until a cold, mechanical voice echoed in Rayden's mind.

"Ding! System binding complete. Initiating resurrection."

"GAAAH!!"
Rayden gasped and sat bolt upright, drenched in sweat.
"I… I died. I definitely died!"
He looked at his body in disbelief, checking his limbs and torso. Everything was intact.

> "Host, do not be alarmed," the mechanical voice continued. "I am the God-Level Eternal System. Your death has successfully activated my functions."
Rayden stared into the air, speaking to no one. "So I did have a system. I just needed to die to activate it?! That's messed up!"
He frowned. "So if I hadn't died, I'd be stuck here without a cheat?"
> "Correct."
"Geez, that's a steep price."
Rayden composed himself and asked, "Okay, so what exactly can you do?"
> "This system has one core function: the more times the host dies, the stronger the host becomes."
Rayden's expression froze.
"…You can't be serious."
> "This system is not human and does not joke."
> "Each time you die, your power grows. And yes, the system will resurrect you each time."
Rayden's jaw dropped. "Wait—unlimited resurrection?!"
> "Correct. However, the host cannot commit suicide. Deaths must be caused by external factors."

"This feels amazing!"
As the wind whipped past him, Rayden couldn't help but grin. All his life, he had envied birds for their freedom in the skies. Now, he was flying—just like them.
