A little later in the morning, Aveline was fully dressed up for work.
She heard a knock on her door, and her stomach flipped in excitement thinking it was Atlas.
"Come in!" She called at the top of her voice.
The door opened, and Joanne walked into the room.
"Good morning, Aveline," she sang like a bird, as she walked in.
"Good–" she paused when she turned to see her holding her phone. "Where did you get that from?"
"The living room. Same place I saw Mr Atlas briefcase," she said with a straight face.
"Oh," Aveline swiftly turned away from her to hide the blush that had covered her face. "Thanks for bringing it to me. I'm very late for work, aren't I?"
"It's almost 10am, so probably. But at least you have eaten," she said as she helped her pack her bag.
"Yeah. Atlas made me breakfast." A fresh smile broke out of her face, and she swiftly used her hair to cover it.
