Atlas finally pulled out, but his gaze remained on Aveline, watching her as she swallowed.
That scene burned straight into his brain, hardening him again.
Aveline's head doubled when she looked down and saw him rock solid.
"I thought–"
"That's what you do to me." He cut her off, and moved to kiss her.
Aveline was going to turn away, but he pinned her put with his hand, and kissed her.
When he pulled away, his eyes were narrowed. "What was that?"
"What?"
"You were going to stop me from kissing you. Why?"
"Nothing." She tried to pull away, but he grabbed her again.
"Aveline, look at me."
She struggled not to, as she shook her head negatively.
"Aveline, please look at me, baby."
He lifted her chin gently, and this time she allowed him.
Fear gripped him when he saw a sting of tears in her eyes.
"What is this? What is wrong?"
"It's stupid, don't mind me," she sniffled and tried to shift her gaze again, but he wouldn't let her.
