"Sorry, do I know you?" Aveline's face switched to an expression of disgust.
"What are you talking about, Ave? It's me. It's Laura," she said.
"Hey, hey, hey, back off. I don't want your saliva spraying all over my food," Riley added herself into the conversation.
Laura's gaze shifted to her. "Okay, rich girl, you need to mind your business and allow me to talk to my friend, okay?" She snarled, and rolled her eyes.
"Laura! You can't speak like that to the customers!" The other staff present chided her.
"Well tell the customer to stop being rude then," she hissed and turned to Ave. "Craig said he saw you. I didn't believe him. But it's true. You're really walking around pretending not to know us anymore. I couldn't even get a hold of the magazine that carried your wedding because of how expensive it was to purchase, and how limited the printed editions were. So selfish of you, Ave."
Aveline continued to look at her with a blank stare.
