The Storm of Separation*
Two years after the blossoming love between iyango and Amoni, a mighty storm descended upon the village of Ikango. Dark clouds gathered, the skies raged, and war loomed. Iago rushed to Amoni's side and pleaded, "Prepare. The time has come to protect our world."
But Amoni stood frozen in sorrow. Her heart trembled, her tears fell silently. The burden of destiny weighed on her. She knew that if she didn't rise, everything—including her love for iyango—would be consumed by chaos. Wiping her tears, she stood and joined the warriors.
Iyango led a group into the forest to confront the storm's origin. He fought with unmatched courage, but his heart ached with each blow. When he finally saw Amoni collapse under the weight of the battle, he ran to her side.
Tears filled his eyes. "Amoni!"
Amoni, in her final breath, whispered, "The pain... the love... I defied fate to love you. But now, I must return to the stars."
Her spirit ascended—drifting to the moon, where immortals rest. Iago was hailed as a hero, but his soul was empty.
Ten years passed. Iyango married a woman named Gija—beautiful and kind—but his heart never healed. Though Gija loved him dearly, she saw the sadness in his eyes.iyangolonged for Amoni.
The grief eventually consumed him. One quiet night, Iyango died mysteriously. Not of wounds, but of sorrow.
Amoni felt it from the moon. She cried endlessly. She tried to return to earth, but the heavens were silent. No path opened. Love still burned strong—but fate remained cruel.
And so, separated by time and destiny, their love echoed forever in the wind.
