A thousand years passed. Generations rose and fell. Yet, the tale of Iago and Amoni—the immortal the serpent woman—lingered like a whisper in the wind.
In the quiet village of Duma, stories still circled about a love so deep it defied time. People spoke of two spirits: one trapped in the sky, one lost in the stars. Some called it myth. Others called it madness. But one girl believed.
Her name was *Iyanya*.
Iyan was unlike any other. Orphaned at the age of seven, she grew up holding onto stories that most had forgotten. Her parents died on the same day—together, in a tragic accident. Since then, she believed love wasn't just emotion—it was destiny. A connection that even death couldn't break.
She became obsessed with the tale of iyango and Amoni. She wrote poems and stories, believing their spirits still lingered—separated, yet seeking each other.
Iyan believed Amoni's soul lived on the moon, waiting for the moment love would reunite them. She told others, "The moon is never full because Amoni is still alone. When she is reunited with iyango the moon will shine whole—and love will awaken across the earth."
People laughed. They called it fantasy.
But Iyanfelt it deeply in her heart. She believed she was born to bring that love back—through story, through belief, through fate.
