Chapter 17 - Chapter 17: Uijin Gyeong

The man bowed his head slightly and quickly left.

A few minutes later, the door open again A tall figure entered, upright posture, calm expression.

The crew members around the room paused their whispering.

The man walked forward and stopped just a few feet in front of the boss.

"Uijin Gyeong," he said calmly, before taking a seat in the empty chair across from him.

Uijin slowly pulled his sunglasses down, revealing his eyes, He looked Sun-ho up and down.

"My guy said you wanted to talk with me?"

Sun-ho gave a polite nod, tone steady "That's right, My name is Sun-ho And I came to offer you something..."

Uijin raised a brow "Oh? What kind of offer are we talking about?"

Sun-ho leaned forward.

"I want you to join me, And if your Crew your 'minions' as they call them, matter to you, I'll take them in too, Every one of them Under my name, under my responsibility."

The room fell quiet A surprised murmurs spread through the minions standing around them.

"Join you?" Uijin said, "For what?"

Sun-ho Said "To become part of God dog crew, I want strong, loyal people with potential."

Uijin stared at him for a moment, Then… he smirked.

"You're confident, I like that But if you want us to be in your Responsibility, you'll have to prove yourself, Most God Dogs members are cocky even the executives and Rumors are everywhere."

He stood slowly, cracking his neck side to side.

"You want me? Beat me in a fight That's the only way I join."

Sun-ho rose as well, face Calm as ever "If I win, you join me, in my group"

"Deal."

The crew quickly backed away, forming a loose circle Excitement buzzed through the room, Everyone was expecting a full-on brawl After all, Uijin Gyeong was no pushover His record in Gangbuk's Is Untouchable, undefeated in straight-up fights.

Uijin stepped forward, loosening his shoulders "Don't say I didn't warn you, rookie."

But before he could throw his first punch,

A single blur of movement.

In the blink of an eye, Uijin was off his feet, crashing into the ground like a missile, The floor cracked violently under the impact, Sun-ho left behind Everyone froze, jaws wide, eyes bulging.

Silence.

Uijin lay flat on his back, blinking up at the ceiling, stunned, He tried to move but his body refused from injury.

"What the hell was that…" one of the minions whispered.

Then the silence broke.

"GET HIM!!" someone yelled.

Half a dozen of Uijin's crew charged Minsoo without hesitation, rage and loyalty in their blood But it was pointless.

Boom! Smash! Thud!

Each punch from Sun-ho dropped them one by one, effortlessly, like they were nothing One flew into a wall, Another hit the ground so hard the concrete cracked again, One brave soul tried to jump on Minsoo's back, but a light elbow to the ribs sent him gasping for air.

It was over in seconds.

Every minion who had attacked was down, groaning in pain or unconscious.

Uijin, now sitting up with a dazed look, stared at the battlefield around him, His entire crew had been taken out in seconds By one man, With zero effort.

"…You… What are you?"

Sun-ho calmly offered his hand.

Uijin looked at the hand, hesitated… then took it.

"Fine, I'll join you," he muttered, getting to his feet with Sun-ho's help "You win, Damn…."

Sun-ho just smiled faintly "Welcome to My group and the God dog crew."

The next day after the fight With gun, a day before Uijin Fight

the base felt unusually heavy.

The executives sat around the long table, the air thick with silence, Johan Seong sat at the center, his presence commanding even in his battered state, His upper body was wrapped with bandages that peeked out from under his shirt, one arm resting stiffly at his side, His ribs were bound tightly, His face carried dark bruises, one eye slightly swollen, lips cut and dry.

And yet, Johan's back was straight His posture didn't waver.

Jin Jang leaned forward, breaking the silence first "Yesterday, I saw something different, Sun-ho… the one who stood beside us, He's not just strong, he's terrifyingly strong."

There were small nods around the table, executives murmuring in agreement.

Jin Jang's gaze "If someone like him stands with us, It changes everything, Do you understand how rare it is."

Johan didn't respond immediately, He shifted he looked up, his voice steady.

"Sun-ho," Johan spoke slowly, "is more than just another fighter, He's the face of the God Dogs."

The executives muttered quietly, surprised at the title Johan's lips curled into a faint smile "And more importantly… he's my friend."

Before anyone could add their thoughts, the doors opened.

The sound of footsteps echoed down the hall, growing closer, until a figure appeared.

Sun-ho walked in.

His steps were calm, His clothes were fresh, his hair brushed neatly, His face carried no bruises, no swelling, no limp in his legs Not a single bandage wrapped his body, He looked untouched, like he hadn't just been beaten nearly to death by Gun Park the day before.

The room froze in disbelief, Executives stared, wide-eyed, unable to hide their shock One muttered under his breath, "This… this is impossible He took more hits than anyone else.."

Sun-ho ignored the whispers, His expression was unreadable, calm but firm, as he pulled out a chair and sat down across from Johan.

For a long moment, the two simply looked at each other, Johan's bandaged frame contrasted against Sun-ho's unmarked body It was almost insulting, almost inhuman.

Finally, Johan spoke, his voice low "How?"

Sun-ho tilted his head slightly "How what?"

"since when, can you copy?" Johan asked bluntly, his tone carrying both curiosity and a flicker of suspicion "I saw you yesterday, you were using my moves, you've never trained in, Gun's techniques, You shouldn't be able to just pick them up like that, And yet you did it like me."

The table went quiet, Everyone leaned in, waiting for the answer.

Sun-ho exhaled "I didn't know myself, Not until yesterday." His voice was calm "In the middle of that fight, when Gun was breaking us apart, something inside me just… clicked Every move, every style he used, it felt like I could see the patterns, Feel them And once I felt them, I could move the same way It, It was instinct."

The executives exchanged uneasy looks Some skeptical.

Johan's jaw tightened."So you figured it out in the middle of a fight with Gun Park?"

Sun-ho leaned back slightly, folding "That's right, I guess."

"But enough about that, We need to move forward." He scanned the table "There are people I want to recruit Fighters I've kept my eyes on, They're wasted where they are now but here, they'll be weapons And I'll form them into my own group within God Dogs."

The executives immediately erupted into chatter one surprise, one frowned deeply.

Jin Jang's hand slammed on the table "No." His eyes locked on Sun-ho's, voice heavy with authority. "This crew already has a structure If we start letting outsiders build their own groups inside of it, we'll collapse from the inside, Johan already gave you more freedom than anyone else would have, but don't mistake that for control."

Sun-ho didn't argue, He simply stared at Jin Jang, expression steady, eyes giving away nothing, His silence was patience, He knew when not to speak.

And then Johan leaned forward, his bandaged hands resting against the table. His gaze shifted from Jin Jang to Sun-ho, and his next words silenced everyone.

"I approve."

The executives froze, eyes darting between their leader and Sun-ho.

Johan's voice was calm "If Sun-ho says he has people worth recruiting, then I trust him He's earned that much, Let him form his own group, They'll be part of God dogs, but under his command."

Jin Jang clenched his jaw, visibly frustrated, but didn't argue further He simply leaned back silent.

Sun-ho's lips curved into the faintest smile.
