Chapter 16 - Chapter 16: I'm satisfied

Gun lunged forward with a sharp kick.

But this time, Sun-ho answered with the exact same kick, Their legs collided midair.

WHIP!

Sun-ho pivoted, his heel slamming into Gun's ribs, Gun stumbling half a step back.

Without pause, Sun-ho transitioned His arms locked into a fluid Aikido twist, redirecting Gun's punch and snapping his body off balance, he used the momentum to drive Gun's head into the ground with a brutal slam.

Gun swung out of the throw, only to be met by a flurry of boxing punches, Sun-ho's fists blurred, hooks and straights weaving seamlessly, One to the jaw, another to the liver, then an uppercut that snapped Gun's head back violently.

THUD!

Sun-ho's knee rocketed upward, a brutal Muay Thai knee strike that crushed into Gun's gut, Blood spat from Gun's mouth as he stumbled, but Sun-ho didn't stop.

BAM! BAM! BAM!

Punches, Kicks, Strikes Each one was Gun's own moves, He was chaining Gun's own arsenal against him Aikido, Karate, Boxing, Muay Thai one after another, relentless.

Gun smiled.

Through the blood on his lips, Gun's grin widened, almost unhinged.

"Good," he growled, straightening his posture, his voice dripping with thrill "Very good."

Then his tone sharpened.

"But it's still not enough for you to defeat me."

His stance shifted, Low, rooted, every muscle tightened And then Gun began to move.

BOOM!

His fist drove into Sun-ho's guard, shattering it apart with sheer force, The blow sent a shockwave through Sun-ho's arms and back, rattling his bones, another strike followed.

Gun's shin whipped across Sun-ho's ribs, the devastating low kick vibrating through his body, The sickening sound of a rib snapping echoed, and Sun-ho gasped blood spraying from his lips.

Gun pressed in, merciless now.

BAM!

A body blow sank into Sun-ho's gut, folding him.

An elbow hammered his temple, spinning his vision.

A shoulder check launched him backward.

Sun-ho slammed against the wall, around him as cracks spiderwebbed outward, His knees buckled, blood trickling from his mouth.

Gun stood in the center, blood dripping from his mouth but his grin was carved deeper than ever, His eyes gleamed with a madness few men could understand.

"Your growth is terrifying, Sun-ho," he admitted, his voice tinged with awe "But remember…" His hand clenched into a fist, veins bulging, muscles thrumming with power "I've mastered this path for years You're still just a child stepping into it."

"I'm satisfied, no woman has satisfied me like You did Sun-ho." Gun said, and Goo was already at the car side with money already in the car.

"I hope next time we fight, you will be strong enough to break my bones, Ganbare." With that he left.

"I lost… badly."

The words slipped from Minsoo's lips in a low, almost bitter murmur, He lay on the couch in the living room, one arm draped over his forehead as if to hide from the ceiling light His tone carried the weight of frustration.

"Even with everything I've learned, everything I've built up…" his jaw tightening "I was nowhere close, I thought I was ready, but I was wrong."

Beside him, Hana sat curled up with her phone, her thumb scrolling lazily across the screen.

"You sound like someone who just realized the world is bigger than he thought," Hana said softly, her eyes still fixed on her phone.

Minsoo groaned, shifting slightly against the couch cushions "Bigger? No It's like… it's a mountain I can't even see the top of yet." He let his arm fall, revealing his face tired.

Hana finally set her phone down and leaned toward him, "Minsoo, it's only been a month and a week since you came into this world, A month And already, you're strong enough to solo the entire current 2nd Generation That alone should tell you something."

Her confidence was steady, "Don't act like you've wasted time, You've done more in weeks than most do in years."

Minsoo turned his head, meeting her gaze, For a moment, the corners of his lips twitched,"You always know how to throw perspective back at me, don't you?"

"Someone has to," Hana replied, leaning back,"Besides, you're not the only one who's grown, After training with you for just a week… I think I'm already enough to take on the 2nd Generation myself, Wouldn't you agree?"

There was no arrogance in her words, only quiet certainty Minsoo studied her.

He exhaled "Yes… and no."

Hana raised an eyebrow "What do you mean 'yes and no'?"

Minsoo slowly, his voice carrying honesty His eyes narrowed "You're strong But strength… strength is a mountain, and no matter how high you climb, there's always another peak waiting above you."

"There are six people who stand above this generation currently, Six who are still stronger than you, no matter how fast you've grown In week, Johan Seong, Jake Kim, Samuel Seo, Mandeok Bang, Yuseong And Daniel Park with his second body."

Her lips pressed together.

Minsoo's smirk "I'm surprised, though You've got Copy, And the fact you never even realized it until I trained you…" He chuckled low, shaking his head in disbelief "That means one thing."

Hana tilted her head, "And what's that supposed to mean?"

Minsoo leaned forward, "It means the Reverse Eye is possible, For you… and for my second body."

"You can't be serious" she whispered.

But Minsoo leaned back again, closing his eyes with a sigh "Still, let's not get too full of ourselves."

Week later

Somewhere in Gangbuk

A darkened, smoke-hazed room and murmured chatter, The sound of footsteps echoed along the concrete hallway, until a young man leaned in through the half-open steel door, addressing someone within.

"Boss, there's a guy outside who says he wants to meet you."

Seated in a chair at the back of the hideout, a tall, lean figure turned his head slightly, His long black hair fell to his shoulders, sharp golden-brown eyes hidden behind sleek black sunglasses, Dressed head-to-toe in a stylish black outfit, glinting earrings dangling from both ears, he exuded quiet dominance.

He spoke without looking at the messenger.

"Bring him in."
