One early Monday morning, many people were on their way to work and school but in one small house a young man was still lying in bed as his alarm desperately beeped to wake him up.
He lazily rolled around on the bed till he blinked his eyes open and finally got out of bed, he looked at the clock for the time and was shocked when he saw it was 9:00 AM.
"Oh crap I'm gonna be late" he said in panic and quickly ran straight to the bathroom to take a shower, after the shower he put on a light and dark green patterned uniform picked up his bag and dashed out of the door, making sure to lock it before he left.
He got to the bus stop and saw the lat morning bus drive away leaving him in the dust "I can't be late on my first goddamn day" he started to think of a solution to his predicament and came up with a plan.
"I can cut through the woods to get to the school faster but I'm going to have to run as fast as I can." he said with determination. He approached the wire fence that blocked off the woods and threw his bag over before climbing over himself.
He landed on the ground picked up his bag and dashed through the woods as fast as possible. His body was pretty fit from the years he had spent doing manual labor so he had high stamina to run.
After running for some minutes he stopped next to a tree to catch his breath for a seconds. He opened his bag and took out a bottle of water that he drank halfway.
As he turned around to put the bottle back in the backpack his foot knocked against it pushed it downhill. He was next to a slope so after hitting the bag it rolled downwards quickly and he ran down to get it. "Today is not my lucky day" he said in frustration as he chased after the rolling bag.
And it finally stopped at the bottom of the slope " finally." he said. He bent down to pick up the bag but after picking it up he noticed something in the dirty under it. He squinted his eyes and pushed away the dirt covering the item and when he was done he saw it was a red gemstone emitting a red glow.
He tapped it a few times while 'thinking it looks really nice, maybe I can sell ...' but before he could finish his thoughts the gemstone crumbled and a red mist came out of it and forcefully entered into his body making him scream in pain and faint.
