Synopsis
Indigo Pereira is a young autistic man from Costa Rica with an unstable gift: technopathy, the power to control and create technology with his mind. Tired of injustice, he sets out to confront dictators and corrupt officials, starting at the U.S.-Mexico border, where he meets Jolie Ávila, a fierce and flirtatious girl scarred by the loss of her aunt, whom he honors by wearing a purple garter. What begins as an improvised rebellion transforms into a global mission when Trump-after an unexpected battle-reveals that Putin, Ortega, Maduro, and Kim Jong-un are planning to reunite the threads of love and destiny: relics capable of fusing souls and granting unlimited power. Traveling through Latin America, Indigo and Jolie face clones, cyberattacks, ancient chi, mutant dictators, giant orangutans, and hypnotic cumbias. But they will also experience emotional struggles, discover their heroic lineage, and learn what it means to truly connect. With action, humor, social commentary, romantic moments, and hints of anime, this story blends the absurd with the profound in a youthful epic where Latin America is the battlefield... and love, a revolution.

Chapter 1 - Deportation Arch Chapter 1: The Baja California

January 31, 2025 - 12:50 p.m.

"What a damn exhausting second day in my second week at university. I better get home as fast as I can," I said, totally drained.

After a while, I got home. My grandpa asked why I took so long, and I told him the Llanos bus was late, so I had to take the one heading to Paraíso.

Hey there. If you're wondering who I am, here's the answer: I'm Índigo Pereira. I was born in 2007 and diagnosed with autism, which triggered my chi at age 15. That gave me the power of technopathy, although it's been a pain in the ass to adapt to it.

Also, I've had girl problems during my last year of high school. Now, if you're wondering what "chi" is-well, it's a special energy that certain humans can awaken if they have some condition that makes them excel at something. They then get powers related to that specialty.

But of course, it has its downsides... Anyway, let's continue with my story.

Two hours later, I messaged my aunt Victoria saying I sucked at computer engineering and should just quit. She replied saying she once had those same "change of career" meltdowns, but with time she adapted to her major-and I should do the same. She told me not to get all depressed over it.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the world...

"Hey, my niece! How's your seventh day at work going?" said the mysterious girl's uncle.

"Exhausting, Uncle Elías... Just working reminds me of that loser ex-boyfriend I had like, a week ago. I feel like I suck at being a flight attendant. Most days I'm just getting creeped on by horny weirdos on planes, and honestly? I'm bored of this crap," said the mysterious girl, clearly pissed.

"Don't say that. Everyone has rough days. You'll get used to it-just don't let it get you down. But seriously, why'd you date a dude who looked like a Mexican knockoff of Steven Seagal?"

"Exactly! That's why I'm over this crap! I just want to afford a decent university in Nuevo León!" she shouted.

"I'm going to my room to think... Who knows, maybe in two weeks I'll meet a guy who treats me right and isn't some pervy old man who tries to grab me. Maybe I'll even stop being obsessed with that weird crush on Alfredo Adame..."

Yeah, I didn't know who that girl was, but man, she looked fine. I swear I'd seen her somewhere before, but whatever-back to my part of the story.

"I guess Aunt Victoria's right. I need to stick with this major, improve my skills with my powers, and get a decent salary... even if I hate it. Let's see what's trending on Google today."

I checked, and something caught my eye.

"Hold up-Trumpete is still deporting illegal immigrants? And he's even sending autistic kids handcuffed on planes from the U.S.-Mexico border?!"

"No way I'm letting that slide. I'm heading to the border to save some immigrants-because what that bastard's doing is straight-up inhumane."

Still, I figured I should try to adapt to college life. But first things first-I had to pack and get ready to use the new vehicle I finished building two months ago.

So I geared up: helmet on, hoodie zipped, and my antigravity boots strapped tight. I was ready to reach that border the next day. But right before leaving, my grandpa stopped me.

"Hey Índigo, where you going in such a rush?" he asked while sipping coffee.

"Just going for a quick spin. Won't be long," I told him.

"Alright, just don't get home too late," he warned.

After saying goodbye, I headed to the U.S.-Mexico border... but some intense winds messed up my GPS, and I ended up lost in the Baja California desert.

"Wait... this isn't the damn border-it's a desert! Gotta find a way outta here."

I spent weeks trying to escape that place. Eventually, I made it to the airport in Tijuana-but I collapsed from exhaustion.

Right before passing out, I saw a stunning flight attendant with wine-colored eyes, reddish-brown hair tied in a bun, and a flower in her hair. She was the one who picked me up.

With my last bit of strength, I asked, "Who... are you?!"

Then I blacked out again.

Some time later, I woke up to that same girl yelling at me:

"Hey! Wake up, hoodie boy!!!"

"Okay, okay, I'm awake! Chill out with the yelling... but uh, where am I exactly?" I asked, disoriented.

"You're at Tijuana International Airport. And FYI, you've been wandering the Baja desert for two whole weeks," she said, arms crossed, looking super annoyed.

"TWO WEEKS?!" I screamed, holding my head in shock.
