Dr. Chen's POV
My hands were shaking as I took the crying baby from Cade's arms.
In thirty years of being a pack doctor, I'd never seen anything like this.
The little girl's skin was so hot it could burn me. Her eyes were glowing like tiny suns. And the power radiating from her six-month-old body was stronger than most adult alphas.
"What's wrong with her?" Cade asked desperately.
"I don't know yet. Let me examine her brother too."
Ash handed me the baby boy, who was just as hot and glowing as his sister.
But when I touched him, something incredible happened.
All the medical equipment in the room turned on by itself.
Heart monitors beeped. X-ray machines hummed to life. Even the coffee maker in the corner started brewing.
"Did he just do that?" I whispered.
"Do what?" Ash asked.
"Control machines with his mind."
The baby boy looked at me with those glowing gold eyes and made a soft cooing sound.
