Ash's POV
I punched the lead warrior so hard that he flew backward into the wall.
"You're not taking her anywhere!" I shouted.
The other two warriors raised their guns, but I was already moving. My hockey training kicked in as I slammed into the second guy, sending his weapon flying across the room.
"Ash, stop!" Ember yelled from the bed.
But I couldn't stop. These idiots thought they could arrest the woman I loved for something she didn't do.
The third warrior tried to tackle me, but I spun around him like I was dodging a check on the ice. My elbow connected with his jaw, and he dropped like a rock.
"Nobody touches her," I growled, standing over the three unconscious warriors.
Ember was staring at me with wide eyes. "You just attacked pack security."
"They attacked first by trying to arrest an innocent woman."
"But now you're in trouble too."
I helped her stand up, my hands shaking with leftover anger. "I don't care. We need to get out of here before more show up."
