James and Sebastien sat in the room, facing each other on the plush royal sofa. The silence hung for a moment before Sebastien finally spoke.
"Why did Prince Ignareth invite us here?"
James leaned back and sighed softly. "Whenever a royal guest arrives in Dravencia, it's tradition that the Crown Prince hosts them in the palace. It's part of royal protocol."
Sebastien blinked. "Oh… I didn't know that."
"You must be tired," James said, standing up and walking to the door. He opened it just as a maid was passing by.
"Prepare some casual clothes," he instructed.
"Yes, Your Majesty," the maid replied and hurried off.
James turned to Sebastien. "Wait here. I'll be right back."
He left the room and headed down the hall to another chamber, where Noah was seated on a velvet couch. The butler and a couple of maids were adjusting Noah's outfit, helping him into something more relaxed and fitting for the day.
James knocked gently.
"Come in," Noah said.
