Princess Sophia entered the room gracefully, her presence calm and composed. "Congratulations, Father," she said warmly.
The Emperor turned toward her with a proud smile. "Ah, Sophia. Your little brother has arrived. You must help care for him. As the eldest, the responsibility of guiding your younger brothers will fall to you."
Sophia nodded without hesitation. "You don't have to worry, Father. I will take care of them with everything I have. I'll do my best."
The Emperor smiled, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Good. Then I'll take my leave now—I have matters to attend to."
With that, he turned and exited the room. As the door closed behind him, the noblewoman lying on the bed looked toward Sophia with soft eyes, her smile weak but full of love. Sophia smiled back and walked over to Kaerth, who was still holding the baby.
"Give him to me," she said gently.
