James walked ahead toward the guest rooms, his steps relaxed. Sebastian followed quietly behind him, still flushed from the earlier fight.
"You did well today," James said over his shoulder. "You even used magic—"
Suddenly, a royal knight appeared, whispering something urgently into James' ear. His expression shifted.
"I see. I'll come right away," James replied, then turned back to Sebastian. "Wait for me in the room. I'll be back soon."
Sebastian nodded. "Alright."
James left with the knight, and not far away, Ignareth—leaning against a corridor wall—watched James walk off. As soon as the coast was clear, he moved.
In the room, Sebastian was halfway through unbuttoning his shirt, his mind drifting when he suddenly heard the door open. He turned, startled.
"Prince Ignareth," he said quickly, eyes wide. "I didn't hear you come in."
