Chapter 58 - Chapter 58 Complaint

Agarth opened his eyes and saw a small girl with long, curly black hair and light brown eyes standing behind his chair.

Agarth followed the girl's hand to a thin book that he had pressed between his waist and the back of the chair.

The girl saw that several pages of her book were creased, and a hint of annoyance flashed in her eyes.

"Book."

Agarth, unusually feeling guilty, hurriedly tidied up the crumpled little notebook before returning it to its owner.

On the inside pages of the book, the words "Carl Margaret" were written neatly in English.

'Huh not Carline? Whatever'

So this is this year's Slytherin lead representative.

Agarth sized up the girl named Carl in front of him. She was indeed very cute, but she seemed quite angry right now.

And she's a bit short.

Carl flipped through her books and breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that they were intact.

When she looked up, she saw Agarth scanning her from head to toe.

Then she widened her eyes and said, "What are you looking at!"

Agarth was so frightened that he took a few steps back.

'Not only is it short, it's also fierce.'

Carl saw the person in front of her take a few steps back in fright and wrinkled her nose.

"I saw it!"

"What do you see?" Agarth replied to Carl's nonsensical question.

"I was sitting right across from you tonight, and I saw how you messed with that idiot Warrington." Carl, holding her book, sat down in the spot Agarth had just been in, then patted the seat next to her, gesturing for Agarth to sit down.

"Are you going to report this?" Agarth asked.

"Hmph, I won't help that idiot," Carl said proudly, chin held high and back straight.

"But what did you use?" Carl glanced at Agarth.

"Tell me, and in exchange, I can make sure this year's freshmen won't dare to bully you."

Agarth yawned, completely uninterested in what the little girl in front of him was saying. As long as the Slytherin group didn't bother him, he wouldn't cause trouble either.

But if you try to mess with him, that's fine too.

Agarth is a big fan of games.

"Are you listening?" Carl nudged Agarth's shoulder.

Agarth glanced at Carl's dimples, which appeared and disappeared as she spoke, then thought for a moment and took out a bottle of powder and placed it in her hand.

"This, seven Galleons." Agarth held out his hand.

"..." Carl, who thought it was a gift for herself, looked at Agarth's palm-up gesture and touched her own empty pockets.

"Wait here, I'll go back to my dorm and give it to you."

"Never mind, give it to me tomorrow."

After saying that, Agarth covered his mouth and yawned again as he walked towards the boys' dormitory.

He remembered that in his past life, the girl living in the cell next to him was also a girl with dimples.

'Considering she has dimples, I'll sell it to her cheaply and allow her to pay on credit.'

Agarth headed towards the stairs on the right, grumbling incessantly as he descended.

"Won't I get rheumatism living here?"

As you go down, you can feel the humidity in the air getting higher and the temperature getting lower.

After turning a few corners, Agarth came to a wooden door covered in dust, with his name written on the door frame.

Just as he was about to put his hand on the doorknob, Agarth saw Abu peck at his arm.

"What's wrong?" Agarth asked, puzzled.

"Chirp~" Abu shook its feathers, its sharp pupils fixed on the doorknob.

Agarth squinted at the spot, lifted Abu, placed him on his shoulder, took out a large piece of raw meat, and touched the handle.

The part of the raw meat that came into contact with the doorknob rotted instantly, and at the same time, a sizzling sound could be heard coming from the rotting area.

Agarth's sleepy eyes darkened, and the corners of his mouth, which usually held a smile, drooped, his tightly pursed lips forming a thin line.

'It seems that these years of peaceful living in this world have made me lose my vigilance.'

Today's lesson is still not profound enough for some Slytherin students.

Agarth's deep blue eyes held a hint of dark gray as he lowered his eyelids, slowly cleaning the things off the doorknob before pushing open the dormitory door.

With Abu, whose feathers were ruffled, perched on his shoulder, Agarth took out the wand that he had never used before.

He then turned his wand around at the objects in the room.

"Tergeo."

All the items inside the room initially spun and annihilated on a small scale, but later, under a large-scale red light, they slowly turned into ashes.

Indeed, in the face of strength, all schemes and tricks are just child's play.

Agarth frowned, glanced at the empty room, and summoned Kaka.

"Kaka, help me tidy up my room."

Hearing the call, Kaka appeared in the corner of the room and responded loudly, "Kaka will get ready right away! Is little Master hungry? Kaka has prepared some snacks for you."

Agarth's eyes lit up when he heard the word "snacks," but after glancing at the wooden door, he shook his head.

"Kaka, you go ahead and pack up, I still have things to finish."

Kaka opened his big eyes and glanced at Agarth with concern.

'This was the first time the little master had refused Kaka's treats.'

Although Kaka was very worried about Agarth, she still followed Agarth's orders, found some cleaning tools, and used her house-elf's housework magic to get to work, huffing and puffing.

Agarth looked at the dormitory door, gently touched his neck, and thought for a moment.

Then, he took out a chair, left the door open, sat down in front of the room, took out some tools, and started tinkering.

In the other dormitory, several freshmen who heard the commotion peeked out and looked toward Agarth's room, but they only saw Agarth sitting with his back to them in front of the door.

The group exchanged glances. They had watched Warrington and several third-year students set up the things in front of Agarth's door, originally, they were expecting to see this person get into trouble.

But as things stand, it's clear that Agarth wasn't fooled.

The group quietly closed the door, and one of them ran to the room next door marked with Warrington's name to inform them.

Agarth, busy at work, twitched his ears, fully aware of what was happening behind him, but still left the door open, preoccupied with the trap he had so blatantly set.

The potion on the door was something that only a master potion expert could detect. If Abu hadn't had a keen sense of smell and smelled it, he probably would have been poisoned today too.

Those who dared to apply this potion probably never expected to discover it themselves, they probably just wondered if the potion had lost its effectiveness.

'Then I'll make these people suffer.'

'If you dare to do it, you must bear the consequences.'

Agarth expressionlessly pulled out the toad gland venom he had just collected that day.
