Chapter 59 - Chapter 59 Fool

The next morning, Agarth was woken up by Kaka.

Last night, Kaka not only cleaned Agarth's room, but also brought over a bed, wardrobe, and other necessities from somewhere.

They tidied Agarth's room up neatly.

Since Agarth lives alone, the room is quite large.

Kaka, along with several diligent house-elves, brought over a dark green curtain, and a large dark brown bed was placed on the left side of the room.

On the right side are several large bookshelves and a desk, and on the other side of the desk is a table that gleams with silver light.

It was filled with Agarth's usual carving tools and all kinds of wood.

Kaka has brought over all the tools he used to use from Godric's Hollow.

"Kaka, what will I do if I leave you?" Agarth said, sitting on the bed and rubbing his eyes.

Kaka, with tears in her eyes, placed a plate of breakfast on the table. "Kaka will always stay with my little master. When my little master has a little master, Kaka will still stay with him."

Agarth stretched, rubbed his messy hair, got out of bed, and gently patted Kaka on the shoulder as he passed by.

Agarth had to admit that he was indeed very dependent on the house-elf who had been by his side since he was an infant.

After getting ready and having breakfast.

After picking out several more outfits, Agarth finally tied her hair up in front of a full-length mirror, made a small ponytail, put on her Slytherin House robe, and walked out of the dormitory to the common room.

Carl, who was sitting in a chair idly wiping her wand, looked up and saw the sleepy-eyed Agarth, so she jumped off the chair.

She tossed Agarth a bag of rattling Galleons.

"There's more than 7 Galleons in there. Do you still have that powder?" Carl had spent the whole night studying the powder and used up the entire bottle, so she was waiting in the common room early this morning, hoping to buy another bottle from Agarth.

Agarth opened the bag, counted 14 Galleons, put them into his ring, and then tossed the bag and a new bottle of powder to Carl.

"There's only one bottle left, so use it sparingly."

Carl nodded regretfully.

"Oh no! Let's go! The first class is Professor Snape!" Carl shouted suddenly, noticing that there were fewer and fewer people around her.

She grabbed a book from beside her and ran out of the lounge.

Realizing what was happening, Agarth jogged after her.

On his first day of class, he didn't want to be sprayed with venom by the snake king.

After rushing, the two finally entered the classroom before the school bell rang.

Today's first class was with the Gryffindors.

The seating arrangement in the classroom is as clear as a line between rival territories.

The table on the left was full of Gryffindor students, while the table on the right was full of Slytherin students.

However, because they entered the classroom too late, only the seats next to the podium were left for the two of them.

Agarth glanced around and saw the twins sitting at the back of the classroom waving at him.

Without thinking much, he walked over and sat down next to the two of them.

However, as Agarth moved, the Slytherin students' eyes were all on him.

Until Agarth took his seat.

Some of the Slytherins couldn't help but be shocked.

The thick-skinned group completely ignored the annoying stares.

George glared at the group and said to Agarth in a low voice, "My friend, how was last night?"

Fred rolled up his sleeves and continued, "I just heard some idiot say that you definitely won't be able to go to class today because they bullied you?"

Agarth shook his head, about to speak, when the door behind him was suddenly pushed open with a loud bang.

Professor Snape, with his robes fluttering behind him, strode quickly to the podium.

He took out a piece of parchment and, in a calm, even tone, called out the names.

When Agarth's name was called, he glanced at where Agarth was.

With a serious expression, he said, "Mr. Lindgel, is the position next to me making you so uncomfortable?"

In the Potions classroom, seats are usually arranged so that only two people sit at a long table for practical purposes. However, it was quite obvious that Agarth's table was occupied by three people.

Upon hearing Professor Snape's words, Agarth jumped to his feet.

He obediently took his book, walked a few steps forward, and sat down at the long table below Professor Snape.

'Great, my deskmate is that girl with dimples.'

Seeing Agarth's sensible manner, Professor Snape swallowed back the words he was about to utter.

"Very good, Mr. Lindgel. I hope you will be just as obedient when we make potions later." Snape uttered a sarcastic remark.

Agarth nodded obediently, but her gaze lingered on Snape's slender, white hands.

'Um?'

'It's fine?'

'Looks like he wasn't infected.'

'Why is it a bit of a pity?'

Following Agarth's gaze, Snape glanced at his own hand, his fingers twirling the parchment list he held.

"You have come here to learn the precise science and rigorous process of potion-making," Snape said, his voice slightly higher than a whisper, but everyone heard every word he spoke.

"Since there are no fools waving wands here, many of you won't believe this is magic. I don't expect you to truly appreciate the beauty of that cauldron simmering slowly, steaming and emitting a wonderful aroma. You won't truly understand the wondrous power of the fluid flowing into people's veins, that makes people's hearts flutter and their minds wander... I can teach you how to increase your reputation, brew glory, and even stop death—but there's one condition: you must not be the kind of fools I often encounter."

As he spoke, his eyes remained fixed on Agarth.

Clearly, this last sentence carries a warning tone, as if it were a conversation with Agarth.

Meanwhile, below the podium, Agarth, completely oblivious, silently repeated Snape's favorite quotation in his mind while staring at Snape with bright eyes.

Snape, who had originally intended to warn Agarth against using unknown herbs, also noticed the expression in Agarth's eyes.

For some reason, the question that was about to come out was suddenly swallowed back.

Although he looks very similar to Dumbledore, he doesn't seem very intelligent.

Let him go for now. If he can't make a superior potion today, then we'll put him in solitary confinement.

With that in mind, Professor Snape turned his attention to Warrington, who had made a fool of himself the day before.

"Mr. Warrington, come to my office after class."

That's the real idiot.
