Chapter 57 - Chapter 57 Disturbance

"Hiss~" This was the sound made by Agarth, who was clutching his swollen head after being kicked out of the headmaster's office and squatting next to the dripping stone beast.

Agarth stroked Abu in his arms and said with a wronged expression, "Abu, I was only trying to help them, why did they hit me?"

A question flashed in Abu's clear eyes. She called out softly and nuzzled Agarth's cheek with her head, offering silent comfort.

She also noticed that the two old bipeds in the room were clearly very excited, so why did they still attack Agarth?

"Chirp chirp!"

"That's right! That's right! They just want that potion! And they kicked me out!" Agarth shouted angrily at the entrance.

Before Grindelwald kicked him out, Agarth even told them that he'll asking the beautiful female Perfect to tell him where the shop was.

'Shameless old man.'

'He's really tempted!'

'And Albus, he saw it all! He was blushing as he looked at Gellert!'

'What else could this be but a desire!'

However, Agarth misunderstood this point, being a lifelong single person still leaves something to be desired.

Dumbledore wasn't looking at Grindelwald, he was staring right at him.

Therefore, after hearing Agarth's words, Grindelwald had no choice but to kick Agarth out before Dumbledore could get too angry.

However, he was indeed interested in the potion that Agarth mentioned.

He also remembered the potion in Agarth's mind that could make people look young, and Grindelwald was determined to get his hands on it.

Inside the office, the two who had kicked Agarth out could still hear her grumbling from the doorway from time to time.

After a while, it became quiet outside, so it seemed that Agarth had already left.

Grindelwald glanced at Dumbledore, who was pretending to be reviewing documents, then stood in front of the table, placed his hands on it, and stared into Dumbledore's eyes, saying, "Albus, aren't you really curious?"

Dumbledore's emotions, which had just calmed down, were ignited by those words, and his earlobes turned red.

However, he did not respond to Grindelwald's words, and the room fell silent.

Grindelwald smiled slightly, nodded, straightened up, and sat down in the chair next to him.

"I see."

Meanwhile, Agarth, panting heavily, was frantically running towards the dungeon Slytherin House office.

"He...he didn't tell me...he didn't tell me the password to enter the dormitory!"

This is probably karma.

'I was so focused on playing a trick on Professor Snape that I slipped away without saying goodbye. Could the person I was eavesdropping by the corner be Snape, who was coming up to tell me the password?'

'Damn it, I just laughed out loud.'

'If I go back to him now, I'm afraid I'll just have to endure his cold, sarcastic remarks again.'

'You regret it, Agarth. You should have left yourself a way out.'

Agarth slapped his cheeky hand and, under Medusa's gaze, gently knocked on the door.

However, no one answered.

Agarth looked around, then whispered to Medusa in a low voice, "Pretty sister, open the door for me. I'll catch you a little snake to play with in a couple of days."

Medusa twisted her waist and hissed.

"I dare not. If I open the door, the black-faced monster will apply some weird potion to me, and it smells awful."

"Then tell me, is he asleep?"

Medusa sensed the presence of the person inside, then froze on the door, completely ignoring Agarth's questions.

A child and a black-faced monster. She would rather offend the child in front of her than offend the black-faced monster.

Seeing that Medusa ignored him, Agarth knocked on the door again, but still no one answered.

'Holding Abu, I followed the route the beautiful Female Perfect remembered to the stone wall at the entrance to the Slytherin common room and sat down.'

'I'm afraid I'm going to become the first year student in history to be trapped at the door of the lounge without knowing the password.'

With curfew approaching, Agarth was wondering whether to take out a corrosive agent and apply it to the stone wall when suddenly a large door appeared in the wall and opened from the inside.

A dark brown-haired man wearing a Slytherin House robe pushed open the door. He glanced at Agarth sitting in the doorway and paused for a moment.

This is the first male prefect to speak up and reprimand Warrington tonight, Mr. Fandy Parkinson.

"Mr. Lindgel, Professor Snape asked me to wait for you here." Parkinson raised his chin slightly, looking down at Agarth.

"The password for Slytherin House this week is 'Noble.' If you answer correctly, the door will open. Come in."

Agarth smiled and narrowed his eyes when he heard the word "noble" again.

'I'm afraid that once tonight is over, the word "noble" will have to be replaced. If I had known it was this simple, I wouldn't have just sat there like an idiot. I should have tried the passwords more often, and maybe I could have opened the door to the lounge.'

Parkinson glanced at Agarth's smiling face, recalled what he had said, and went into the lounge with a dark expression.

'I'll request a different password from Professor Snape tomorrow!'

Passing through the gate, they entered the Slytherin common room, a long, low basement with walls and ceiling made of rough stone. Round, green-glowing lamps were chained and hung from the ceiling.

Beneath a beautifully carved wall fireplace in front of Agarth, a crackling fire cast the shadows of several Slytherin students seated in ornate chairs.

Several Slytherins, sitting in carved chairs and reading books, looked up at Agarth and his companion.

A mocking smile played on their lips, but none of the students spoke, instead, they looked at Parkinson.

Parkinson pointed in the direction of the dormitory, "Since the number of new Slytherin students this year is odd, you will have a dormitory room by yourself for the time being. The room with your name on the door is your dormitory room."

After saying that, he pointed to the notice board next to the entrance of the lounge.

"Tomorrow's schedule is on the bulletin board. The first class is our Head House class. Don't blame me for not reminding you, don't be late."

"It is a Slytherin tradition to elect a lead representative each year."

As Parkinson spoke, he frowned and glanced at the little bird in Agarth's arms. Why did this bird look so familiar?

"Your absence tonight means you will not participate in the leader representative's challenge. Every student must obey the leader representative. Your leader representative for this year is Carline Margaret."

"Well then, goodnight, Mr. Lindgel."

After quickly explaining everything, Parkinson nodded to Agarth, not caring whether Agarth understood or not, and turned to call the others sitting on the benches before returning to the dormitory.

Agarth processed the information he had just received, pinched his burning earlobes, took a few steps forward, and slumped into a chair.

"Hard mode activated."

"Excuse me, you're pressing down on my book." A clear, slightly cool female voice came from above Agarth's head.
