I don't think I heard Sebby right; he's probably joking, so I look for the sarcasm on his face, but it doesn't look like he's joking. It looks like he's being serious; no one is laughing or questioning him. They're all looking at me like what Sebby said was a fact.

"But it is." Says Tife, walking out of the shadows. I guess that Sebby and Pilar have forgiven her? "Maybe we've got this all wrong. What if the Crescent knight wasn't created by Bastet, but she gave the role to certain humans she deems worthy to wield that power?"
