I can feel the whole room spinning and spinning and spinning. I want to throw up, but I can't bring myself to it. I feel like I'm about to faint, but I don't want to. I keep telling myself that maybe this is a dream, maybe if I faint now and I wake up, I'll be in my bed, and I'll realise it was all just a mere dream.
But I've had this dream before already, not in this sense. But in a direct way. I saw me… or a Sekmetra with my face, dragging Jeremy to God knows where. I've seen this film before. So my guess is that wasn't just a dream but a premonition of what's to come.
Or what has already happened.
"Jessie? Buddy, are you okay?" Daniel asks me, and of course, I'm not okay. I just found out my boyfriend has been kidnapped by a beast who has been killing Nytheris for the past weeks. I should not be okay.
