Gojo Satoru immediately objected, clearly displeased.
"What do you mean the Gojo clan is doomed in this generation just because of me?"
"Isn't it, though?"
Su Yang looked at Gojo with exaggerated surprise, then hit him with a question that left him completely speechless.
"Then tell me, dear head of the prestigious Gojo clan, since taking on the role, have you ever actually fulfilled your duties as clan head?"
"Of course I have! I mean, I... uh..."
Gojo instinctively tried to defend himself, ready to list his contributions to the clan, only to realize that… he couldn't name a single one.
Not one?
Even Gojo himself was dumbfounded.
The only thing he could come up with was helping the Gojo clan secure the title of strongest in the jujutsu world.
"See? Nothing. I knew it."
Su Yang shrugged, as if he'd expected this outcome all along, making Gojo's expression even more awkward.
Yukino watched this exchange, her expression unreadable, but her gaze toward Gojo held a hint of disbelief.
Her mother had always spoken so highly of the Gojo family. Yet even someone as sharp as her mother had apparently been fooled by this man?
She couldn't help but feel amazed, and also curious.
When did Su Yang become acquainted with the head of the Gojo clan?
And the way they talked… they seemed very familiar with each other.
Gojo, noticing Yukino's gaze, sighed in resignation. "Fine, you win. Let's drop it. I'm not here to argue."
"This time, I actually came to talk business."
As he spoke, his face turned serious.
Seeing this, Yukino started to rise. "If it's serious, then I should probably,"
"Stick around and listen."
Su Yang pulled her gently back to sit beside him, and before she could protest, he leaned in and whispered,
"This is the reason you've been looking for."

Yukino's eyes flickered slightly. She didn't resist anymore.
Gojo didn't pay any mind to her reaction. His gaze locked onto Su Yang. "Suguru Geto came to see me."
"Oh? And?"
Su Yang looked completely indifferent, which made Gojo feel utterly defeated.
He really wanted to punch him.
Too bad he knew he'd lose.
"He asked me to tell you… he really had nothing to do with what happened. He was framed."
As Gojo relayed the message, he couldn't help but ask curiously,
"Seriously, what did you do to him to make him so desperate to explain himself?"
Just thinking of the look on Geto's face made Gojo even more curious.
"Nothing much."
Su Yang rubbed his chin. "Just wiped out one of his special,grade cursed spirits, plus some Grade 1s and Grade 2s. All in all, maybe around... five hundred?"
Five hundred?
Gojo's eyes twitched. "Yeah… that explains the look on his face."
"He even asked me what he had to do to make you let it go."
"Let it go?"
Su Yang raised an eyebrow. "Tell him to prepare 1,000 Grade 1 Curses."
"1,000 Grade 1 Curses?"
Gojo Satoru was stunned. "Do you even know what you're saying?"
"If Suguru Geto really had that many Grade 1 Curses, do you think he'd still be holed up with that cult, the Star Religious Group?"
"Oh? So he doesn't?"
Su Yang glanced at Gojo. "Then just give it to me straight, how many Cursed Spirits does he actually have?"
"Well…"
Gojo hesitated for a moment, then looked at Su Yang seriously. "What do you need that many Cursed Spirits for? You can control them too?"
"Nope. And do I look like I need Cursed Spirits to get stronger?"
Su Yang shook his head. "I need a large number of them for an experiment."
"No,what I really want are simulation points" He added silently in his heart. Naturally, that wasn't something he was going to say to Gojo.
An experiment?
What kind of experiment needs 1,000 Grade 1 Cursed Spirits?
Anyone who heard that would probably think you were planning to invade a small country.
Still, even Gojo had to admit, Su Yang didn't need Cursed Spirits to boost his strength.
"It's been a while since I last fought him, so I don't know the exact number," Gojo said after a moment's thought. "But from what I remember, Geto has over 4,000 Cursed Spirits. The thing iis, most of them are trash, Grade 4 or Grade 3. Don't even talk about Grade 1. He probably doesn't even have a thousand Grade 2 Curses. Maybe just two or three hundred tops."
"As for Grade 1 Curses? He definitely has fewer than a hundred. So don't get your hopes up."
Gojo couldn't help but feel exasperated.
Did Su Yang think Grade 1 Curses just grew on trees?
Sure, to Gojo they were basically cannon fodder.
But in reality, exorcising even one usually took a decent,size strike team.

Su Yang was mildly disappointed.
"Then go ask him how many Cursed Spirits he's actually willing to give up," Su Yang said calmly. "Doesn't have to be any special grades or Grade 1s."
"And with that, you can leave."
Gojo: …
You're kicking me out?
He blinked, then noticed Yukinoshita Yukino standing beside Su Yang and sighed.
Looks like he was interrupting something between the couple.
Although…
Wasn't the Yukinoshita heir supposed to be the eldest daughter?
This one should be the younger sister, right?
Still, Gojo didn't dwell on it. Su Yang was already staring at him.
"Alright, alright, I'm going!" Gojo said, raising both hands. "I'll relay your message to Geto, but I'm not making any promises about what he'll say."
Su Yang remained silent. In truth, even a thousand Grade 3 Cursed Spirits would be a decent haul.
That would net him a million simulation points.
Still, no reason not to start negotiations high.
Now it was up to Geto. If he wasn't willing to pay the price, Su Yang wouldn't mind saying "sorry" and walking away.
After Gojo finally left, Su Yang turned his gaze back to Yukino.
Even though his expression hadn't changed much when the topic of Curses came up, Su Yang, who knew him well, could tell.
The calmer he looked, the more turbulent his heart really was.
