She was really startled, but she was quick in her movement, dashing toward the room inside with her pitchfork brandished.
This place was too strange, and she couldn't afford to be careless–

So familiar yet also unfamiliar at the same time.
"Cassias?" She called out. Her emotions fluctuated greatly.
Cassias' eyes were darker, shining with a dangerous, cold light that not even the other versions of him ever showed before.
His dark eyes met hers. It was too dark, and she belatedly noticed something wrong with him.
His previously pure white wings had become black, as dark as the night itself.
Just as she was about to step forward, something dramatic and embarrassing happened. She freaking tripped! On her own weapon at that!
