Claudia woke up in a company lobby, where she was very familiar with the company.
It was the company owned by Mr. Davidson or Yohan's father. Of course this made her feel confused, how could she wake up in that lobby when previously she was in her rundown house and had died?
"How can this happen? I was in Mr. Davidson's lap before but now I'm..." she muttered.
She looked at herself hugging a lunchbox bag, and realized that her hair was still black.
"Ms. Claudia?" said a well-dressed woman touching her shoulder.
She then turned around and was surprised to see the woman who turned out to be the receptionist in the lobby.
"It's already 5pm and Mr. Davidson didn't return to the company. He had an outside engagement so he couldn't come back," she explained.
Hearing that, Claudia realized that she was back three years ago when she was not yet engaged to Yohan. That day she came to the company to bring the lunch she had made for her boyfriend.
However, Yohan told Claudia that he had just left the company and asked her to wait for him in the lobby until he returned.
'I waited since 9am and even slept here until 5pm. And I foolishly believed that he was very busy. He must be with Stephanie right now,' Claudia thought as she thought of all the things that had happened back then.
She didn't expect that time would turn back to three years ago and this time she wouldn't repeat the same mistake of falling into Yohan's arms.
'God really gave me a second chance, and this time I won't waste it.'
"Ms. Claudia?" called the receptionist again when she saw her silence.
The woman stood up from her seat and looked at the receptionist.
"Then I'll see Mr. Davidson," she said.
The receptionist looked confused, even though she had said that Yohan would not be returning to the company because he had other business. But before she could answer, Claudia interrupted her.
"Oh it's not Yohan I want to meet, it's Mr. Davion."
The receptionist lady was surprised and also confused, why Claudia suddenly changed her mind and chose to meet Yohan's father, Davion.
The man was known to be very cold, and rarely interacted with anyone except those who worked with his company.
"Tell Mr. Davion that I will see him now. I'm sure he won't refuse my request," she said confidently.
Still feeling confused, the receptionist finally returned to her desk and called the phone connected to the CEO's room, Mr. Davion.
After a brief conversation, Davion finally allowed Claudia to come to his office. While still carrying the lunch box, she had been carrying since morning, the dark-haired woman walked towards the elevator and went to the 15th floor where the CEO's money was.
Once she arrived at the door, Claudia knocked on the door.
"Mr. Davidson, it's me Claudia."
Not long after, there was an answer from inside with a voice that was so heavy and also flat.
"Come in," Davion replied from inside his office.
Once the door was opened, Claudia could see a middle-aged man who was still so young sitting in the CEO's chair. Although his son was already 23 years old, Davion was currently still so young at 45 years old.
She could see that he was busy with several things on his desk, which were important documents for the survival of his current company.
'He was so focused and meticulous with everything he did for his company. But in the end, the company went bankrupt when he decided to help Yohan's new company which took all the money the company had,' Claudia thought.
He clearly remembered how Davion had even gone into debt because he had to pay his employees. But his company couldn't be helped either, all because of his own son who had deceived him.
'All his hard work went to waste just because of his ungrateful son.'
Davion, who had been focused on the documents on his desk, raised his head and looked at Claudia who was just silent in front of his office door.
"What is the need for you to see me? If you want to ask about Yohan, I don't know where he is. All I heard is that he is busy with his business right now," he said in a cold tone.
She snapped out of her reverie and walked over.
"I'm not here to look for Yohan," she said, then she leaned towards Davion using her hands as support on his desk.
"I'm here to see you, Mr. Davion!"

The man was confused by the words of his son's girlfriend. What did Claudia mean by her looking for him?
"You must have misspoken or you were just upset that Yohan didn't come back. I want to apologize for some of what my son has done to you. So you don't have to do something like this," Davion said to her.
However, Claudia smiled and even chuckled when she heard the apology.
"I'm not asking you to apologize for what Yohan did. I came here because I really wanted to see you," she replied.
He then looked at the lunchbox Claudia was currently holding.
"You made that for Yohan?"
The woman looked at the bag containing the lunchbox in her hand, then paused for a moment. She did make this for Yohan and in the past Yohan had never once touched the food. Claudia was the one who ate it when she got home.
But this time, she changed her mind and would not think of giving this to Yohan again but to the man in front of her right now.
"No, I made this for you!"
She took out the meal box and placed it right in front of Davion who was looking at her with a confused face. But he was still able to control his emotions by keeping a flat expression.
When the lunchbox was opened, there were several types of food inside that Claudia hoped Davion would like.
There was silence between the two of them, until Davion finally opened his mouth again.
"You don't need to pretend that you intend to give this to me. It's obvious that these are Yohan's favorite foods."
Claudia forgot that she did cook Yohan's favorite food, so it was obvious that the food box was deliberately made for her lover.
"Umn... About that..." She seemed hesitant to answer Davion's words, and felt at a loss as to how to say it.
However, the man then picked up the spoon and started eating the food Claudia had given him.
"It would be a shame if this food goes to waste since Yohan is not in the company at the moment. So instead, I'll eat it so that you don't waste time making this food," Davion said with his voice slowly softening, then he savored the food in the box.
Claudia's eyes lit up when she saw Davion eating her food.
Behind his cold nature, she knew that Davion was a good man and did not want to disappoint the people he knew.
