Chapter 38 - The fifth Citadel's Prophecy

Somewhere near the centre of the simulated universe, two citadels were hiding. It was rather quiet in the two citadels, as they were populated by 100 thousand Max clones as well as a little more than 145 thousand Lukas clones spread throughout both citadels.

They had worked on their ability to hide and flee with their connected citadels in case they once more met the Geddos Alliance. They were unaware of the advancements made by both the supercitadel( or their general founding) as well as those made by the Geddos Alliance.

While the Max clones were working, every second or third of them getting help from one Lukas clone each, the Lukas clones who came from their citadel, were lazing around, or so it seems.

The 100 thousand Lukas clones from the fifth citadel had created something like a secret society or cult in between floors. The space between floors, or the ceiling of one floor, and the ground of another, had a small space between them. While the Lukas clones originally planned to use the lower floors, they were not able to, due to the Lina living down there( And yes, they used the same name for her, because it is a name engraved into our minds which we associate with evil creatures and which fills us with hate and rage and blood lust).

"The great goddess has sent us a signal." A Lukas clone stated, wearing a white robe with beige accents. He was standing atop a stage in a giant room lit up with torches instead of lights. As leader and founder of this secret society and cult, he changed his name to Prophet.

Murmurs went up throughout the hundreds, maybe even thousands, of Lukas clones wearing similar clothes to him. They were excited to hear those words.

He lifted his arms to mimic the letter Y and behind him a ginormous fire lit up and revealed the wall behind him. "She, who is made from light and sacrificed herself for our lives, has returned and is now asking us to find her." On the wall behind him was a beautiful painting of Captain Teddy, standing on top of a Geddos-Fighter-Ship.

In front of him, out of the ground, extended a stand with a screen on top of it. He lowered his arms to rest next to the screen and started to type something. "A prophecy I have received recently." He yelled, before reading the message hidden within the signal he caught. "Captain Teddy has returned to the citadel!"

Sheers went up and the room started shaking.

"She has given me the coordinates and called for us." He said as once more sheers erupted in the audience. "Now arm yourselves with sacrifices and gifts for our goddess, as we will initiate the first movement of this citadel since her sacrifice." The flame lighting up the painting went out and the stage drowned in darkness.

Quickly, the hundreds and thousands of cult members ran out of the room towards their own homes to find their most valuable belongings which they will present to Captain Teddy.

Up on the main floors, on which normal life happened, where Lukas clones and Max clones lived, Prophet appeared in the back of an apartment through a hidden elevator.

Prophet dropped his robe, hiding it away in a locked box before entering his own bathroom. He thought back to the day he was about to enter the connection halls, before they exploded. It was such an amazing sight, seeing Captain Teddy saving lives before being captured herself. The sight of her plum little body just appeared divine.

He started to put makeup over the tattoo he had on his forehead. It was the one thing the Lukas clones used to identify Prophet, but outside the space in between floors, he wanted to stay anonymous.

Having finished hiding his tattoo( for those wondering, basically our profile picture, the teddy face) he hurried out of his apartment. Past hundreds of people he went into the elevator towards the bridge. He pushed out the others, as his time as Prophet made him pretty arrogant, to ride the elevator up alone.

The moment the elevator opened again, eyes darted towards him.

"What are you doing here?" Someone asked, "You're not authorised to be here."

Prophet went past the Lukas clones who asked him the question and, as he tried grabbing him, cut off his hand with a ceremonial dagger. His face had a creepy smile covering it.

The entire bridge stopped what they were doing, either attacking Prophet or trying to help the Lukas clone whose hand was cut off.

Prophet quickly dodged those attacking him, not slowing down as he approached the console to drive both citadels, and, if they came to close, cut them as well. Many died until he reached the control panel and put in the coordinates.

Once the citadels started moving, he put in a lock so nobody could stop the citadel and was tackled to the ground and cuffed with ropes and other quickly improvised items.

The Lukas, whose hand he cut off first, ran at him after having his wound closed and kicked him hard enough against the head, to scrape off most of the makeup covering his tattoo and making blood spray out and into the air. Prophet instantly fell unconscious.
