Fujitora was stunned. He hadn't expected Chiga to invite him to join the Navy so directly—without any buildup, just straight to the point.
Before he could respond, Chiga continued, "I know who you are. A Paramecia-type Gravity Fruit user. An upright man with a strong sense of justice. You'd be a perfect fit for the Navy."
(Let me make something clear, I also do not understand how fujitora have the Gravity fruit, since Mc already used his Rinnegan on it. I'd have edited it but Fujitora wouldn't be a one time scene character, and to avoid complicated explanations later on.)
Fujitora raised a brow, surprised that Chiga knew the nature of his Devil Fruit. "How does Admiral Purple Kirin know so much about me?"
Chiga smirked. "You don't need to worry about that. Just answer the question—will you join?"
Fujitora fell silent. Right now, he was a drifter, a ronin without a master, wandering the world with no real destination. He had no intention of ever becoming a pirate, but joining the Navy had never crossed his mind seriously—until now.
Watching Chiga's actions in Dressrosa had stirred something inside him. The young Admiral wasn't just powerful, he was just. Fujitora had been moved.
He didn't hesitate long. Slowly, he lifted his head, met Chiga's eyes, and said,
"All right. I'll join the Navy."
Then, in a slightly awkward motion, he raised his hand in a salute—clumsy, but heartfelt. From this moment forward, Chiga wasn't just another strong man—he was his superior.
Chiga nodded, satisfied. Bringing an Admiral-level powerhouse under his command this easily? That was no small feat.
Suddenly, Chiga felt a tug on the corner of his coat. Looking down, he saw Rebecca, her small face filled with nervous energy. The moment their eyes met, she quickly pulled her hand back.
"Um... Purple Kirin big brother," she said timidly, "can I join the Navy too when I grow up?"
Even Rebecca had been captivated. Chiga's strength and presence had left a deep impression on the young girl. In her heart, the Navy now stood for justice, and she wanted to be part of it.
Kyros quickly stepped forward, patting Rebecca on the head. "Rebecca, don't trouble Admiral Purple Kirin. Just focus on your sword training for now."
"But can I really get strong like him just by training with a sword?"
Kyros hesitated. He wanted to say she was dreaming—he'd trained for decades and still wasn't on that level. But telling her the truth might crush her motivation.
Thankfully, Chiga knelt beside her, pinching her cheek gently with a small smile.
"You can. But you're still young. Once you grow as tall as that onee-san over there," he said, nodding toward Robin, "then you can come join the Navy. And by then, I'm sure you'll be strong enough."
Rebecca turned toward Robin, who gave her an encouraging smile. With renewed determination, Rebecca shouted,
"I understand! I'll train hard and become an amazing Navy officer!"
Chiga smiled faintly, but inwardly, he couldn't help but imagine the chaos coming in a few years. Ace, Law, Conis, Nami, Nojiko—they all had dreams of joining the Navy. If they trained together, the Navy Academy would be more lively than ever.
Straightening, Chiga looked around the palace.
"All right, it's time for me to return to Headquarters. Take care, everyone."
He opened a portal using the Door-Door Fruit and gestured for Robin and Fujitora to step through. Though unfamiliar with the ability, Fujitora didn't hesitate—he was Navy now, and he followed the command without question.
As they entered, Chiga was about to use the Flying Thunder God to teleport when Violet rushed forward and wrapped her arms around him.
The feel of her body pressing against his made him pause for a moment. Behind her, King Riku and the others turned their eyes away, understanding what was happening. The king knew his daughter had long harbored feelings for the Navy's strongest Admiral.
Now that Chiga had saved her life, those feelings had clearly blossomed into something more.
Still, King Riku sighed inwardly. I just hope she's not aiming too high.
Meanwhile, Rebecca watched the hug with wide eyes until Kyros gently turned her away—though she still peeked curiously.
Then, Violet tiptoed and kissed Chiga on the lips.
Caught off guard, Chiga quickly pushed her back before things escalated, though the mark of her lipstick was now clear on his mouth. Violet looked at him with a mixture of playfulness and longing, seemingly unwilling to let go.
Chiga, exasperated, said nothing. He had truly experienced the passionate nature of Dressrosa today.
Inside the Door-Door Space, Robin watched the whole thing with a blank expression, though her foot tapped the floor repeatedly.
Fujitora, sensing her unease despite being blind, asked, "Miss, is something going on outside?"
"No," she replied coolly, though her gaze remained on Violet. She had the sudden urge to make flowers bloom around that woman's head.
Chiga touched his lips and muttered, "You really went all out, huh..."
Violet smiled and stepped forward. "Admiral Purple Kirin, I—"
Before she could finish, Chiga handed her a kunai marked with a Flying Thunder God seal.
"Keep this. If you're ever in danger again, hold it and call my name."
Then, in a flash, he vanished.
Violet stood frozen, staring at the spot where he disappeared. Slowly, she placed the kunai inside her clothes, where his warmth still lingered. She turned to Rebecca and smiled gently.
"Rebecca, how about Auntie takes you to join the Navy when the time comes?"
