Chapter 241 - 241: The Blind Swordsman.

Kyros was still on the ground, not yet able to rise, when Violet walked in holding Rebecca's hand.

Violet, Rebecca's aunt, had found the pink-haired girl wandering near the Royal Palace gates. A closer look revealed that she was indeed her sister's daughter. Without hesitation, she brought Rebecca inside—only to witness the aftermath of an intense confrontation.

The moment Rebecca saw her father lying on the floor, she rushed over and knelt beside him, panic rising in her voice.

"Dad, are you okay? Did they hurt you?"

Hearing his daughter, Kyros slowly turned his head. The worry etched on Rebecca's young face softened something in him. Her concern filled his heart with warmth, but he didn't move. Instead, he said gently,

"Rebecca, I'm fine. This man here is Navy Admiral Purple Kirin. He's already arrested Doflamingo. He saved our country. You should show respect."

Rebecca blinked, confused. Just moments ago, she feared her father might die at the hands of Doflamingo's forces. How had everything changed so quickly?

And this man—so young—was the one responsible?

Still unsure, Rebecca obediently followed her father's lead and knelt beside him, facing the young man her father had spoken of.

But Chiga didn't want anyone kneeling to him.

With a casual flick of his hand, two shadowy tendrils emerged from the ground, gently wrapping around Kyros and Rebecca's waists. They were lifted upright and placed steadily back on their feet.

Kyros stood firm, but Rebecca flinched, her expression crumpling in fright at the touch of the strange dark limbs. Tears welled up—until Violet stepped in, scooping her into her arms and whispering calmly,

"Don't be scared. That's Admiral Purple Kirin's ability. He's the strongest man in the world. You don't have to be scared."

"The strongest in the world…?" Rebecca murmured, looking up at Chiga with wide, amber eyes. She couldn't believe someone so young could be that powerful.

Chiga offered a gentle smile, but when Rebecca saw the pattern of his Rinnegan eyes, she instinctively shrank back into Violet's embrace.

Chiga sighed inwardly. Did the power I used look too sinister?

Truthfully, he could've used gravity to lift them, but Kyros only had one leg. He didn't want the man to lose balance. That's why he'd chosen a more stable method—but it seemed it frightened the girl more than it helped.

Shaking off the thought, Chiga approached Kyros and glanced down at his missing right leg. Then, he used his skill, Iwanagahime.

Under everyone's astonished gaze, Kyros's right leg began to regrow. The man stared in disbelief, stomping his new foot lightly just to be sure it was real.

Even Robin, who had seen many of Chiga's techniques, was stunned. In her mind, he was starting to resemble something more than human.

Mansherry looked at her tiny hands, wondering if even her healing powers could accomplish something like that.

Chiga gave Kyros a firm pat on the shoulder and said,

"You've done well. Consider this your reward."

Overwhelmed, Kyros bowed deeply. "Thank you, Admiral Purple Kirin! From today onward, my life belongs to you!"

Chiga waved him off. "I don't want your life. Use it to protect your daughter. Protect Dressrosa."

Just then, a deep, composed voice echoed through the palace.

"Navy Admiral Purple Kirin… truly lives up to the title. This old man is honored to witness it firsthand."

All eyes turned toward the voice.

A tall man in a purple kimono walked slowly forward, leaning on a cane. He had rough features, closed eyes, short black hair, and an X-shaped scar across his forehead. His aura alone made the room feel heavier.

Despite the cane, every step he took radiated quiet authority. Everyone—except Chiga—instinctively tensed.

Robin and Violet moved behind Chiga, while Rebecca clung to her father's leg.

Chiga studied the man curiously. He recognized him instantly—it was the future Navy Admiral, Fujitora.

What's he doing here in Dressrosa?

Fujitora approached Chiga and bowed slightly, his tone respectful.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Admiral Purple Kirin. My name is Fujitora."

The man had been drawn to Dressrosa by the gambling underworld that had thrived under Doflamingo's control. Unaware of the chaos, he had left the casino—broke again—only to see Doflamingo flying through the sky. Sensing a battle had erupted, he followed, eventually arriving outside the palace.

With his powerful Observation Haki, Fujitora had listened to everything that transpired inside. Chiga's confrontation with Doflamingo, his words to Kyros—it had moved him deeply.

He could no longer remain in the shadows.

Chiga had also heard of Fujitora. Though he looked severe, he was among the most righteous in the Navy—part of the dove faction, a man who would not hesitate to call out corruption, even from within the World Government itself.

Unlike Ryokugyu, whose loyalty lay with authority, Fujitora followed only his own sense of justice.

Opening his eyes—though they revealed only pale, clouded whites—Fujitora tried to take in the face of the man he now respected. But being blind, he could see nothing.

He had once blinded himself, choosing not to witness the world's cruelty. And yet now, in the presence of this young Admiral, he felt a flicker of regret.

Chiga could see the strength and honesty in Fujitora's heart.

Why not bring him into the Navy now?

Smiling slightly, he said,

"I can sense your strength. Would you consider joining the Navy?"
