" And the second important announcement is that the magical affinity test will be done right now and I want all of you to be perfectly present for it . "
" Remember that this will be the start of your magical journey in the academy , so treat it with the seriousness it deserves . "
Hearing this a sudden rush of excitement went through the crowd.
Magical Affinity Test !
Perhaps one of the most important events for a new wizard .
Most of the students who did not belong from the wealthy noble background they have yet to uncover their own magical affinities .

Cian said while keeping an gentle and reassuring hand over her shoulder .
Obviously Cian knew what kind of affinities each of the main characters will have .

This is a special ability that allows for the purification of the corruption brought upon by the dark magic of the abyss.
' In fact after Zeal's light affinity is revealed it will be the first event that will truly attract the attention of the authorities towards him . '
During the incident with Marus Baronet the Academy authorities only noticed him for a brief moment and saw nothing special .
But after this they will start seeing him as a student with top tier potential in the future .
' Well ! He is the protagonist of the story and it would be unusual if he does not get any unique ability from the start . '
On the other hand his sister Jenny Cloudseaker will get only one magical affinity and will not have particular talents in it .

Yes the unique ability of the royal family of the kingdom of Valerion is called - ' The Crystal Magic . '
And don't mistake it for some kind of normal magic .
These crystals are certainly not the ones that can be used as light bulb or picture projections .
There are many types of magical crystals in this world and sometimes the difference in their characteristics and what they can do are so vast that they may feel totally different from each other .
' And don't be shocked because in the future a lot more different kinds of unique types of magic and bloodline abilities will come . '
' And some of them will be too hilarious or perhaps too disgusting . '
So it's better if you prepare yourself .
Alright back on the topic .
The crystal magic is a special type of magic that allows to user to create strong and durable crystals that contains unique abilities .
It is actually considered higher grade then that of the normal earh magic as it has a huge amount of defensive and terrain altering capabilities .
In fact it is said that the first founder of the kingdom defeated a fire dragon using his crystal magic alone in a single combat .
This is an achievement that is very rare to see .
And from the kingdom only the principle of the Academy will be able to achieve this greatness again in the future by defeating an adult dragon in a single combat.
And even that will happen in the future and not now .
' But even if someone is the member of the royal family it might not certain that they will awaken it . '
And even if they awaken it the path of mastering it is long and difficult .
' Even the second prince wouldn't the able to use it to good effects in the future and will change his attentions towards becoming an knight and practice his spear techniques . '
However the first prince of the kingdom would be able to master the crystal magic and will become a major character in the future .
But it still some time before he makes his appearance .
And now moving to the other big candidate in the room we have Elera Ros Thalric .
' Elera Ros Thalric herself will have two types of magical affinities - fire and wind affinities . '
In fact her family is known for having one of the most strongest fire magic user in the kingdom and in the future she will also become a strong fire magic user herself .
But she will focus more on her Alchemist abilities then anything else.
It was due to the fact that her character was written to be an primary alchemist rival to Jenny Cloudseaker .
With that the time passed by as they finally appeared outside the testing room and professor Frost look at them .
" Alright from now on one after another each of your names will be called and you will go inside the room alone where one of the teachers is already present to do the magical affinity test . "
" After your magical affinities are known it will be documented with the Academy's system and will be saved in your profile . "
With that professor Frost moved aside and took out a list from his pocket and one by one started to call everyone's name .
The first one to enter the testing room was the second Prince closely followed by Elera Ros Thalric and the other noble students .
The hero and his sister got their turns after 10 minutes and slowly the line started to gradually move on .
Some people who came out of the testing room had excited looks on their faces while others had disappointment writen all of them .
And after sometime it was finally Cian's turn .
Looking at the gates in front of him Cian quickly took a deep breath and then stepped forward with confident determination .
" Let's do it . "
