Chapter : 23 : Can you really be the one to hold that lost legacy :

" Cian.... your second magical affinity is - ' GRAVITY MAGIC . '

As those words fell a long silence fell in the room as both people didn't know what to say anymore .
Cian who was sitting opposite to the teacher couldn't help but blink his eyes again and again as if not understanding a single thing .
And it was only after a few seconds that he finally registered what the teacher said .

And the reaction in his mind was instantaneous and rocking .

The gravity magic on the other hand comes under a classification of pseudo space - time magic .
Because when a Wizard is using gravity magic they aren't just throwing rocks instead they are wrapping the fabric of the area around them .
In more simple terms in earth magic the wizard treats the rock like a projectile .
It's more like hitting a baseball with a bat and one's the ball is hit it's goes on its own .
However in the case of the gravity magic it is more like putting a ball at the top of the slide.
Now the ball goes down not because not because it was pushed .
But because ' down ' is now in that direction .
And this is why the gravity magic is considered a form of a pseudo space time magic .
' Because in this case of gravity magic the wizard is not only affecting the rock but the pathway through which the rock is travelling . '
On the other hand this also answers why it is not called a proper space - time magic .
' Because here it is only manipulating one specific symptom of space - time not the entire thing . '
For example a full space time magic can ignore distance and fold the space between point A and point B .
Just allows techniques like teleportation to work in space time magic especially used by the principle of the Academy .
However in the case of the gravity magic you have to travel through space between .
To move a rock or an object from point A to point B the gravity magic has to pull or push through the whole distance .
But out of this boring discussion there are some advantages and disadvantages relating to the gravity magic .
' First of all the power of gravity magic is very strong and it takes a lot less effort to do more damage then a standard elemental magic . '
In the original novel it was clearly mentioned that a person with mastery over the gravity magic could become one of the strongest character in the series .

After giving a final thanks to the teacher who perhaps he will never meet again Cian turn back and left the room with an exhausted look on his face .
The moment Cian exited the room the door the teacher's expression suddenly changed .
The smiling face that was there to encourage every student disappeared in an instant and turned into a very serious one .
" First that boy with light affinity and now this boy with affinity for Gravity magic . "
" This year's batch is really full of surprises . "

With that he looked where Cian had just left and suddenly thought of something else .

To be honest Cian only listen to half of it patiently as he was starting to fall asleep .

But finally all of this was over and now he had the chance to get out and get some fresh air .
Unfortunately Liora's number was right next to him and she had to enter the room right after he came out .
So there was no way she could accompany him .
