"We should continue," I said to Lyra, already moving toward the next bed where a female soldier lay with a mangled leg. "I can heal all of them tonight."
My sister's eyes were wide with wonder. "Sera, this is... incredible. Do you have any idea what this means? The possibilities are endless!"
I placed my hands over the woman's leg, feeling that now-familiar warmth pool in my palms. The soldier gasped as golden light seeped from my fingers into her damaged flesh. Before our eyes, the torn muscle knit back together, broken bone fragments aligned, and fresh skin closed over the wound.
