The smoke was heavy, the music loud and colliding sith the screams, gunshots and police sirens. That was the typical life in Emerald Bay. The corruption of this city was one of the highest ones around. But what made things worse wasn't what was happening above the city, rather what was below it. A large fighting arena located below the city.
The announcer, screaming at the top of his lungs couldn't help but feel the excitement as he watched the fight progressed. The crowd was on its feet, cheering and chanting as the two fighters clashed in the dimly lit arena. The air was thick with anticipation, the smell of sweat and blood hanging heavy over the ring. The boy, his lean body glistening with sweat, danced around the champion, his feet moving with lightning speed and precision. He was a whirlwind of kicks, each one landing with pinpoint accuracy on the champion's armor-clad body.
The champion, a towering giant of a man with a scarred face and a cruel grin, wielded his sword with deadly precision. He swung it in wide arcs, the blade slicing through the air with a menacing whoosh, but the boy was always one step ahead. He dodged and weaved, using his agility and quick reflexes to avoid the sword's deadly kiss.
The crowd erupted into cheers as the boy landed a perfectly executed roundhouse kick to the champion's chest, sending him stumbling backward. The champion snarled, his face twisted in anger, and charged forward, sword flashing in the dim light. But the boy was ready, and with a swift kick to the champion's wrist, the sword went flying out of his hand.
The crowd gasped in shock, and the champion's face turned red with rage. He charged forward, fists flying, but the boy was a master of his craft. He used his legs to devastating effect, landing kick after kick with precision and power. The champion stumbled backward, his face a mask of blood and bruises, but still he refused to fall.
The announcer's voice was hoarse from screaming, his face red with excitement. "And here comes the challenger, folks! He's got the skills, he's got the speed, and he's got the determination! Can he take down the undefeated champion? The crowd is on its feet, and the tension is palpable!"
The boy's breathing was steady, his movements fluid and precise. He was in his element, and he knew he had this fight in the bag. But the champion was far from defeated, and he snarled, his eyes blazing with fury, as he launched himself at the boy once more. The battle was far from over, and only time would tell who would emerge victorious.
Another young man with striking features, watched the fight unfold from the VIP area. His dark hair was perfectly styled, and his royal blue eyes sparkled with excitement as he gazed down at the arena. His skin had an olive tone and his piercing eyes that seemed to see right through you.
Down in the arena, the fight raged on. The challenger, Luca, was a force to be reckoned with. His legs moved with lightning speed, delivering kick after kick with precision and power. The champion, Louis, stumbled backward, his face a mess of blood and bruises. Despite his valiant efforts, Louis couldn't land a hit on Luca, who seemed to be toying with him.
The crowd was on its feet, cheering and chanting Luca's name. The announcer's voice was hoarse, but he still managed to scream out the play-by-play. "Luca is dominating! He's got the skills, he's got the speed, and he's got the determination! Can anyone stop him?"
In a final, desperate bid to turn the tide, Louis charged forward, his massive frame barreling toward Luca like a freight train. But Luca was ready. With a swift, precise kick, he struck Louis's chest, sending him crashing to the ground. The crowd erupted into cheers as Louis struggled to get to his feet, but it was too late. Luca stood over him, his chest heaving with exertion, as the announcer declared, "And the winner is... Luca! For the first time in ten years, we have a new champion in the underground battle arena!"
The crowd went wild, cheering and chanting Luca's name. Raphina Veleno smiled, impressed by the young fighter's skills. He made a mental note to learn more about Luca, the new champion. As the crowd's excitement died down, Raphina turned to leave, his eyes scanning the arena one last time before disappearing into the shadows.
The boy in the VIP area couldn't help but smile and acknowledge what he had just saw. "I think I found my guy. " He said looking down at Luca.Luca's slave owner, feeling overconfident that no one could beat Luca let out a challenge to anyone in the room, whoever had the guts should step up to face the new champion of the underground battle arena. The Boy in the VIP stood up.from his chair and started running towards the giant glass windows and broke right through them as he landed swiftly on the ground. "I'll take you on, but what's the catch if I beat your champion?" He asked calmly staring holes at Luca and his owner.
The slave owner, fueled by his confidence in Luca's abilities, sneered at Raphina. "Ah, you think you can take on our champion? Very well, I'll make it interesting. If you win, I'll give you a small fortune, enough to set you up for life. But if Luca wins, you belong to me, you'll be my new... acquisition. A man of your looks couldbe a big hit with the ladies." *smiles*
Raphina's eyes locked onto Luca, his gaze piercing. "And what makes you think I care about your money? I'll take the challenge, but I'll make a counteroffer. If Luca wins, I'm yours. But When I win, you and your precious champion will serve me, and me alone."
The slave owner's grin faltered for a moment, but he regained his composure. "Very well, let's seal the deal. But tell me, who are you to make such a bold claim?" Raphina's smile was cold, calculated. "My name is Raphina, and I'm the grandson of Antonio Veleno. You may have heard of him." The room fell silent, the crowd gasping in shock. Luca's owner took a step back, his eyes wide with fear. "V-Veleno? You can't be..."
Raphina's eyes glinted with amusement. "Oh, but I am."
