In the New York Sanctum of an alternate Earth,Doctor Strange glared sharply at Spider-Man—Peter Parker.

Peter's incessant chatter had disrupted the Oblivion Spell Strange had just cast, causing it to fail outright. The Sorcerer Supreme's frustration was palpable.

Strange pointed his finger at Peter with a stern tone: "I told you not to interfere. That's exactly why the spell didn't work." His brow furrowed deeply, clearly dissatisfied with Peter's reckless behavior.

"The spell was completely unstable. If I hadn't stopped it in time, it could've thrown everything into chaos." Strange's voice remained earnest and serious as he addressed Peter.

Peter looked a little bewildered, not fully grasping the severity of the situation. His only wish was that his family and friends wouldn't forget him, so he kept altering Strange's spells in a desperate attempt.

Whispering quietly, Peter said, "Stephen, I'm really sorry."

Strange's glare sharpened as he retorted bluntly, "Call me sir!"

If not for his old friend Tony Stark, Strange would never have bothered to make an exception and use the Forgetfulness Charm on this persistent kid.

What irritated him even more was Peter's repeated interruptions during the spellcasting. It was maddening.

Peter swallowed nervously, sensing there was no point in arguing.

"I'm sorry, sir!" he apologized sincerely.

Hearing Peter's apology, Strange stepped back, shook his head, and tried to calm himself.

"After everything we've been through, I forget you're still just a kid. A kid," Strange said softly.

He often forgot that despite all the battles and hardships Peter had faced with them, he was still just a high school graduate — a child.

Strange had always treated Spider-Man as a comrade-in-arms but neglected to consider his youth. It was natural for a kid not to want his loved ones to forget him.

Now that the forgetfulness spell had failed, Strange could only try to persuade Peter to face reality.

After all, Mysterio wasn't entirely to blame for this mess. Much of it stemmed from Peter's own choices.

Peter wanted to live an ordinary college life while still being the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man for the people of the New York

Strange suggested Peter try communicating with his school again or have Tony apply pressure on the administration.

But Peter's response confused Strange: "Can I call them first? I haven't seen Mr. Tony in a long time. He seems to be laying low since the war."

"Call???" Strange stared at Peter incredulously. He had assumed Peter had already tried contacting the school and had been rejected, hence coming to him.

"So you haven't even talked to the school yet, and you come here asking me to help brainwash the entire world?" Strange advanced slowly, anger rising.

Before Peter could answer, Strange kicked him out of the New York Sanctum.

"Damn it! Luckily, it didn't cause chaos across the multiverse!" Strange cursed as he shut the door.

Unbeknownst to him, the multiverse was already destabilizing due to his flawed forgetfulness spell. Deviations were occurring both in Alex Ray's universe and others.

. . . . . . . . . .

928 Universe, New York, Spider-Man Base Camp

At that moment, many Spider-Men were too afraid to emerge.

Spider-Man 2099 stared at the fluctuating spider-web interface in frustration, noticing the web patterns shift wildly in an instant.

"Have you figured out what's going on? Why is the multiverse shaking? Is there any Spider-Man affected there?" Spider-Man 2099 demanded anxiously.

His tone revealed the weight of the crisis. Since the last Kingpin Collider incident, the spider-web network connecting the multiverse had been increasingly unstable.

The Spider-Men of their League traveled constantly across parallel timelines and dimensions to apprehend villains who slipped through multiversal cracks.

If this continued, every Spider-Man universe could face annihilation.

He was determined to find the culprit behind this catastrophe.

Having witnessed a universe's destruction once before, he founded this organization to safeguard all Spider-Men. No one, no matter who, could stand in his way.

The Spider-Men exchanged worried glances but remained silent.

Only the digital Spider-Man, Margor Keyes, kept typing furiously on the keyboard, searching for answers.

The others looked confused, waiting anxiously.

"I traced the first disturbance to a small Spider-Man universe. Ghost Spider-Man is currently on a cleanup mission there," Margor reported.

"The second disruption was caused by Doctor Strange from the same universe who was assisting Peter Parker with a spell. Now, multiple multiversal channels have been opened," she continued.

Spider-Man 2099 slammed the table, his anger boiling over. "Damn nerd! Damn Doctor Strange! I knew it was him. Several multiverses are collapsing because of his recklessness. The Ancient One never should have let him become Sorcerer Supreme!"

Every time Strange's name came up, Spider-Man 2099 felt a headache coming on.

This wasn't the first time a Strange had caused universe-level chaos. In every reality, Stranges seemed prone to reckless mistakes, with multiple versions having destroyed their universes through mismanagement.

He pressed on, "Contact Ghost Spider-Man immediately. I need to know if she disrupted any fixed events."

"I told you from the start I wouldn't give her the dimensional watch," Spider-Man 2099 turned to complain at Spider-Woman. "If it weren't for her insisting, Gwen would never have been allowed into the base."

Spider-Woman remained silent. She knew his anger was futile and wouldn't change anything.

Still, she believed Gwen was calm and capable, and that this was likely a misunderstanding.

Besides, there was no Miles Morales in this universe, so the matter was none of her concern.

She knew staying calm was crucial. Only then could they find the best solution.

"Margor, keep monitoring the spider-web network. Inform me immediately if there are any new developments."

"Everyone else, prepare to deploy. We need to locate these multiversal rifts and capture any extra-dimensional threats."

At the command, the Spider-Men began mobilizing.

A middle-aged Spider-Man carrying a baby stepped forward and said, "Actually, there's no need to be so grim. It's not as bad as you think. Our efforts as Spider-Men will not be in vain."
