While walking down the hallway to head to the first floor, Xai Lin finally explain Little Bai's existence to An Mo.
"The classifications of Spirit Artifacts are Low-grade, Mid-grade, High-grade and Top-grade. Low-grade Spirit Artifacts are mostly used by cultivators in the Spiritual Realms, and while Mid-grade Spirit Artifacts can be used by Foundation Establishment and Core Formation Realm cultivators, only talented disciples from established Sects or younger members of prestigious Clans can afford to use them. As for their qualities, at most they can boost one's attack or defensive ability using runes. However, High-grade Spirit Artifacts used by those in Soul Realms are on a completely different level. Along with boosting one's attack or defensive ability, they have a Spirit Artifact that can independently act on their own. Some unique one's can even develop innate abilities."
An Mo listen closely as he followed Xai Lin down the stairs, completely fascinated by what he was hearing. But then he suddenly asked
"Wait, how does one craft a weapon with an Artifact Spirit?"

But it's mainly the result of the Artifact Refiner being in the Soul Realms and having a deep understanding of Souls. An Mo also smiled but then asked.
"Then what about Top-grade Artifacts?"

Xai Lin said as she stepped off the last step and reached first floor. Turning to look at Little Bai, she said with a smile.
"Top-grade Artifacts like Little Bai can only be refine by 7th Rank Artifact Refiners who have reach the Heavenly Law Realms, because they are created using that person's lifespan, a part of their soul, and their understanding of the Heavenly Dao. So, in some sense, Artifact Spirits of Top-grade Spirit Artifacts are souls. Well, that is if they manage to pass the Heavenly Tribulation they trigger upon their creation and gain the Heavenly Dao's acknowledgement."
An Mo's eyes shone with astonishment as he turned to look at Little Bai.
Now it was Little Bai's turned to give An Mo a smug look. Well, he didn't exactly have a face to make such an expression, but one could intuitively feel that it was acting smug despite it only being a bundle of white light. Which goes to show how unique its existence was.
"Also, another feature of Top-grade Spirit Artifacts is that they have the ability to cultivate human form, and if they are lucky enough, they could even elevate their existence to an Immortal Artifact and ascend to become an Immortal."
"Whoa! Really?!"
Now this truly shocked An Mo. He could never have guessed that an inanimate object like a weapon had a chance to become an Immortal.

An Mo said excitedly as she stared at Xai Lin.
Xai Lin smiled in response, while gently squeezing his hand.
"Let's go see if Su Jin is up. We can invite him to visit the hot spring."
"Eh?"
An Mo's eyes widen suddenly. However, Xai Lin seemed to know what he was thinking so she flicked his forehead and said helplessly.
"What are you thinking about? The hot spring have several separate rooms with partitions between them that even prevents Soul Severing Realm cultivators from peeking."
"Oh."
An Mo muttered while symbolically rubbing his forehead. But then he said.
"I don't mind sharing room with that human, but the requirement is that you use another room."
While pulling An Mo along to Su Jin's room, Xai Lin said in an ambiguous tone.
"Oh, could it be that you don't want to share a room with me?"
"Huh? How could that be?!"
An Mo finally snapped back to his senses upon hearing that. What was he doing? Wasn't this his chance?!
"Of course, I want to share a room with Xai-xai!"
Seeing An Mo become so enthusiastic, Xai Lin rolled her eyes.
Meanwhile, Little Bai was grinding his teeth—if he had them.
'This brat is so shameless. How can Little Xai get together with someone like him? But…'
Why did he feel his Little Xai wasn't right either?
Little Bai felt like he was being stuffed full just watching these two interact. It couldn't help asking himself—'since when did humans become so uninhibited by showing affection regardless of the time or place?'
Don't these two know how to restrain themselves? What if they offend a singled dog when they were out and about.

"Sorry Little Bai, I was distracted for a moment. I called you over to set a destination. Can you pull up the star chart?"
Hearing this, Little Bai didn't waste any time. Its luminescent body flickered before a projection appeared in front of Xai Lin and An Mo, and moved with them as they walked down the hallway.
This projection consisted of a transparent black background with white dots scattered across its surface, while above those white dots, small characters were written.
An Mo glanced at those characters and used his passable literacy he had recently developed to read them and found out they were names of different Human Realms.
An Mo looked at the hundreds of white dots and was a little amazed. But before he could ask any questions, Xai Lin spoke up.
"Little Bai used to belong to my eldest brother, and he used him to travel the cultivation world for experience when he was very young, before gifting him to my second older brother, who also used him to travel the world. Eventually, he was passed down to me. These white dots are all places Little Bai has been."
After giving this explanation, Xai Lin found the Realm they were currently in, which was called "Ten Thousand Beasts Realm", and tapped it.
Immediately, the projection started zooming in on the dot, before quickly expanding to show an incomplete map with several continents that varied in size.
"Little Bai can only record places it's been to, so some of these maps are incomplete."
After saying that, Xai Lin found a continent called "Dark Moon Continent", before locking it in as their next destination.
As soon as Xai Lin finished, Little Bai retrieved the map and scattered itself into specs of white light that eventually dissipated. He did not want to stay even a second longer and torture itself by watching these two youth who were infected with a disease called love-brains flirt with each other.
Xai Lin didn't mind Little Bai's attitude, after living for so long, it was normal for it to develop a grumpy and somewhat naggy personality.
Holding An Mo's hand, Xai Lin led the way to Su Jin's door, and gently knocked on it.
