"What are you talking about?" Declan asked again, but I knew I wouldn't say it, I couldn't say it out loud. So I looked around the room to avoid his eyes until they rested on the empty sachets of femidoms lying on the floor beside the bed.
"Oh that, " Declan said, referring to the femidoms. He understood me after all. But he had resumed walking towards me, and I did not like the way it made me feel.
He did not stop moving even when he got to the bed, and I did not move back because it was pointless. He reached for me with his left hand, and forcefully grabbed me by my neck. He pulled me closer to himself, and began to speak in a calm but cold voice.
"I wouldn't make it that easy for you. You would have to beg desperately for it." He let go of my neck, and then he stormed out of the room.
