I stretched lazily on the floor where I laid, mustering every ounce of self control I had to not cry out in pain. Every part of my body was covered in sores, all thanks to Declan's merciless whips, and Nanisca who had lied against me.
I couldn't tell how many whips Declan had administered to my body. I lost count after I counted forty three, and Declan had gone on and on and on after that.
Now I was left on the floor in the adjoining room. The others were warned sternly by Nanisca not to tend to me,or my would which hasn't stopped bleeding, and they wouldn't dare do otherwise.
Maybe I was wrong, maybe living in Moonfire pack was way better than living here. Back in Moonfire pack, I had no business with anyone else, unlike here where I had to answer to Declan, and Nanisca even though I'd rather not have anything to do with either of them. At this point, I couldn't tell which of them I hated more, or who I'd rather have visit hell first.
