Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Truth Unraveled

"I can't go," Chelsea said, as she shook her head repeatedly.

"Relax, everything will be alright, I promise." Magnus held her hands as he stared at her while massaging them properly.

"How?" Chelsea asked, her hands shaking with fear.

"Listen..." He held her face as he stared directly into her, letting go of her fears.

"I will be there to make sure it turned out right," he said, as she smiled.

"Then...I'll pick you up tomorrow morning after work," he said as she nodded.

Letting her eyes shut gently, with her hands wrapped around his shoulders.

The next day, Chelsea lifted her legs as she stared at the empty room. Scanning every bit, she couldn't lay her eyes on Magnus.

She rolled off the bed as she saw a piece of paper wrapped. She pulled the paper to her view, as Magnus had written.

"Will be back to pick you up for the party. See you soon," he wrote.

Chelsea smiled as she walked over to the bathroom, letting the dripping water dash to her skin.

******Tonight********************

The night had arrived, and Chelsea jumped off her bed. Walking faster with her lean legs and her brown gown firmly fitting her.

For hours, she had been waiting for Magnus.

"I'm here, love," Magnus said, pulling the door open and walking toward her for a hug.

Chelsea smiled, hugging him tightly.

Chelsea pulled out of the hug as they both folded their hands together while moving closer to the parked car.

Chelsea smiled as they strode out of the car after a few minutes' drive.

Still folding their hands and walking over to the private suite Magnus had booked.

Immediately, they walked inside the private suite.

"You came?" Michaela said as she pulled for a hug, but Chelsea stepped back with angry eyes.

"Oh! C'mon, I'm sorry about what I said last night; I wasn't in my right state of mind," Micheala said as she tapped Chelsea's shoulder gently.

"And you?" Chelsea asked, bringing Sabrina into shock as she stared for a second before getting herself back.

"You mean me? I'm sorry too, I wasn't in my right state either, but don't worry, today is your day," Sabrina said as she smiled happily with her hands wrapped around Chelsea's shoulder.

"Since you're serious about this forgiveness, then I'm good with you," Chelsea said immediately as Micheala smiled.

"Thank you," Micheale said as she grabbed Chelsea over to the party.

Pulling her in for a seat, Chelsea tried to refuse, but she insisted.

But surprisingly, Micheala pulled out a wine beside her as she lifted it for a toast.

"Happy birthday to you, Chelsea, we love you," she said, but instead, Chelsea stared at her without a word.

"Drink up, come on, don't spoil the mood," Micheala said as she tried forcing her to drink.

But instead, Chelsea held the glass of wine with her hand firmly on it.

"Since you're good to me, have it instead, we need to be close." Chelsea's words spoke like piercing ice.

"What do you mean? It's your birthday," Micheala said, with a laugh as she glanced at Chelsea.

"Chelsea, let her go, we are here because of you. It was supposed to be my welcome party, but it seems he loves you more," Sabrina said, sipping her wine gently.

"Then...maybe you might try it too," Chelsea responded, catching Sabrina off guard.

Her eyes rolled over what had just happened, and she froze with fear gripping her.

"But…"

Sabrina stammered, with her hands shaking.

"Why aren't you talking?" Chelsea stood up; she was fed up with all the lies they made.

Glancing at everyone's eyes, she smiled deviously. Letting her hands tighten as her veins pumped out in anger.

"What are you doing?" Michaela asked, her shaken voice pulled out.

Chelsea didn't care; she kept on coming over to Michaela, holding her glass of wine as she smiled.

"Chelsea... Chelsea..." Sabrina shouted her name, but she didn't listen.

Chelsea felt concerned that it was Michaela who started all these scenarios, her hands moving closer to Michaela.

"Have a sip!" Chelsea commanded; it was not a request but a command.

Micheala's face turned pale as she stared at Chelsea in fear. Her hands were shaking, and her body vibrated.

She moved behind, but still, Chelsea didn't stop. She kept on moving faster towards her, with her hands firmly on the wine glass.

"Take a sip, now!" Chelsea ordered.

Michaela glanced at the dark version of her; she pleaded, but still, it wasn't enough for Chelsea.

Just as Chelsea pulled the wine toward Michaela's mouth.

Her hand was held firmly, making her scream in pain. She turned her body as her eyes widened in fear.

Magnus held the wine off her as he held her neck. Pulling her mouth open and choking her more.

As the wine slid down her throat, the last drop landed inside her throat.

"You!" Chelsea cried as she ran off with her hands over her mouth.
