Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Hot Tears

Before Chelsea could understand what had happened, she started to hear whispers beside her as they stared at her; some even pointed fingers at her.

"You don't know Sabrina?" A lady asked her friend in a blue gown as they stared at Chelsea.

"Not at all," her other friend said.

She is the real love of Magnus, but this slut here took over the opportunity and snatched Magnus from Sabrina because of his family going bankrupt," the lady said.

"Then where was Magnus running to?" The other man beside them asked.

"Because he needs to see his true lover, not this slut here!" The lady said.

Chelsea glanced at them as everyone laughed out their lungs with their eyes perched on her.

She stood up, even with the wounds, and she ran faster out of the building.

Letting the cold, fresh breeze slap her wet wounds, she ordered a taxi soon.

After a few minutes, she arrived, letting herself out as she waved at the driver.

Chelsea walked toward the hospital; she was lucky it wasn't closed yet. She walked faster inside but paused.

"Chelsea! What are you doing here?" A voice pulled out from the patient room as Chelsea stood there without uttering a word.

"Is that Chelsea?" Michaela asked, putting her face a little out as she glanced at her.

Chelsea carried courage as she walked over to them. She did not care about what might happen, but she was ready.

"Because of your sister!" She screamed harshly, letting her feelings out.

"She is just a kid," a voice pulled out as Chelsea stared at the lady with brown hair and in a blue gown.

"You—" Chelsea stammered, seeing Sabrina in front of her.

"Why can't you let it go for once?" Magnus yelled at her as he tried approaching her, but she gasped a little.

"She isn't a kid anymore; you're only a year younger," Chelsea laid out her mind as she stared at all of them.

"Chelsea, how are you doing?" Sabrina asked suddenly, bringing Chelsea into a shout of laughter.

Chelsea laughed out loud, forgetting her wet wounds were still exposed.

"What's wrong with you?" Magnus asked, annoyed already as he sighed.

"You better care about your wound, or else—I might..." Chelsea said as she walked out.

Leaving them glancing at her in shock, Magnus was surprised by her raising her voice at him and those around him.

Chelsea walked closer to the door but remembered she hadn't met the doctor.

She did a U-turn and walked over to the doctor close by, ready to treat her wound.

Just as she was done, she went outside while staring to see if she might see them, but she didn't.

She walked over to the place for her drugs, which the doctor directed her to.

She heard some voices closer to a room close by, in the corner of the room.

Chelsea tiptoes, not trying to disturb the patients or even some nurses.

"You can just plead for forgiveness, and then invite her over for another birthday party, and then leave the drug for me."

Chelsea's heart squeezed as she overheard Micheala's voice.

She felt the second time she had been fooled again.

She spied on them, but her eyes were blurry, already in tears. Her ears shut down from hearing too much as she ran faster with her hands on her chest. Leaving the drugs she wanted to get.

Chelsea woke up from her phone vibrating as she pulled herself up and sat down.

Still, with her weak eyes teary, she stared at the message.

But froze at that moment. "You think you're the main lover of Magnus, but guess what? I have returned to collect what's mine!"

Chelsea closed her phone faster on the bed as she took a breath. Not letting anything ruin her, but she had always been a good wife. Why was everything going to be ruined?

And then she shut her eyes, and immediately the door slid open. Leaving some footsteps approaching her.

"Baby..." Magnus jumped onto the bed as he hugged her tightly.

Chelsea stayed still without moving as she shut her eyes firmly.

"I'm sorry about what's happened; Sabrina was harassed at the airport and had no choice but to deal with them!" Magnus whispered to her, but immediately, Chelsea stood up and sat down.

"What of these marks?" She asked him firmly as she stared at the marks on his neck. It definitely was a love-making mark, but instead, Magnus glanced at her and then let out a strong laugh.

"Part of the fight I had earlier," he said as he held her pale face and placed a deep kiss on her lips.

Chelsea stood there as she stared at his betrayed face. She felt like peeling off his throat and running away, but that wasn't going to do any good.

Please...please..." Magnus held her neck as he pleaded and kept on kissing her neck.

Bringing Chelsea into a smile as she pulled his hands off her.

"Please stop...stop," she said, and then Magnus stopped.

"I'm inviting you to a party," he said.

"What party?" Chelsea asked as she widened her eyes.

"Your 28th birthday, of course; sorry we spoiled today's mood, but trust me, Michaela wants to plead for your forgiveness this time," Magnus said.

"I don't want to go," Chelsea insisted as she folded her hands.

"Please... please," Magnus pleaded as he kept on shaking her hands.

"Okay...fine," she said.

"But... Sabrina will be there!" Magnus's word pierced directly into her chest, and she froze at the name.
